But imho someone literary should be licensed to novelise the entire Craig era in a bumper anthology, starting with 'James Bond in Casino Royale' and 'James Bond in Quantum of Solace', and then working through the remaining films using their original titles. The novelisation challenge would include tidying up what in the cinema was a clunky retcon by creating a strategic through-line - and giving Craig's Bond some coherent interiority in an overall arc while delineating his journey through PTSD.
Critics and material I don't need. I haven't changed my act in 53 years.

I'd happily do it, but sadly my book sales are too poor to be noticed. Isn't @Loeffelholz a successful author? Maybe he can pitch it to IFP.
