WTB: Persol 2244 (CR)

Allow me to tell you a sad story: the 2244 frames were my very first Bond purchase way back when, as I was a young trainee and mending from a relationship gone sour. They have a special place in my fandom experience.

I lost them a few years ago, on an unfortunate (because of this event) shopping day. I noticed a couple minutes after losing them, but it was too late: they were gone and, one assumes, made someone else quite (dishonestly) happy.

Now, I realise that the pricing on these has skyrocketed over the years, and please don't take my personal story as a boo hoo attempt to get a bargain, but I simply can't pay the 400-500 dollars/euros people are asking for them.

Should any fellow member be considering parting with theirs, and willing to work out a reasonable price, kindly PM me. I still keep the case and cloth, so a loose pair without the box/case would be perfectly fine.

Would prefer to deal with someone EU-based in order to avoid customs hassle/extra costs.
