Most of you probably already know but just in case...............
Photos of the above mentioned reception can be found in an old Playtime magazine. It was the Playboy Staff magazine in case you are wondering. Not sure if any photos that haven't been seen but it is a double spread.
Interesting anyway although it could well be common knowledge on here.

It seems that Cubby, Roger Moore, Sean Connery and many other people connected with the Bond franchise liked to be seen at various top-end London casinos.
I believe that Ian Fleming and the people mentioned above went to the Clermont and Le Cercle along with a few others probably although there weren't that many high-end casinos pre-1964 (for Fleming) to choose from, really. I think I read somewhere that he said his favourites were the Clermont and Le Cercle although as he had a heart attack in 1961 and struggled to recuperate I'm not quite as sure as I thought I was.
I think Le Cercle was a favourite for a number of reasons, obviously Fleming's Le Cercle "Club" was well known along with the casino itself.
I managed to find a few links between Le Cercle (casino) and people connected to the Bond franchise but can I find the information again? Of course I can't. From what I remember, a make up artist (or actress) was married to somebody from Les A's house band, possibly the conductor but I will try to find the info again to confirm.
I also read somewhere that the 21 Club (lobby) was seen in Casino Royale (Niven version) but no matter how hard I look, I can't find that again either. Anybody able to shed any light on that or anything else mentioned above?
The New York 21 Club features dining by Bond and Tiffany Case in Ian Fleming's DIamonds Are Forever.
Fleming said Bond played at Crockford's in his Moonraker novel. Crockford's was frequented by Fleming, Moore, Connery et al.
Some club or else a film set was the "UK casino" in Casino Royale '67. Perhaps this looks familiar to you?
Great, thanks for that Matt.
How old do you think I am!? I'm kidding, but I was born the month it opened (actually 2 days before the London showing). No it doesn't look familiar but I it gives me something to go on at least so thanks for that.
It looks like it says Buckingham Club (there was one in Manchester I believe, but that was Buckingham House Club). I thought it just said the foyer of the 21 in London was seen but again, I've done so much searching for information I've probably confused a few things.
Appreciated though, take care.
