Oddball collectibles 🤔

Anniversary of mobile phones recently in the news. Discovered in an old magazine an Ericsson competition entry. Use of the BMW Z3 caught my eye as wrong film! But, now found the phone to match. Must be a rare combo now?
Anybody else have an oddball collectibles about? Seen lots of usual Smirnoff, Perrier and various watch advertising.

I like this alot!!!
Thank you for sharing
Congrats on the purchases - what is a TND collection without some Ericsson gear? There was a bit of overlap with the GE-TND promo stuff. I have a few items in similar fashion:
- TND countertop standee that says 'win a BMW Z3 with Ericsson';
- TND Heineken advert showing various stills from the film and yet one image is from GE;
- Spanish VHS featuring special effects from TND plus GE;
- and even as late as TWINE - an Energizer flyer where you can still win a Z3
Related stuff in the collection:
- Imperial Toys Secret Service watch and sunglasses from 1984, but with a (reversed) photo of Moore from MR;
- German 2020 TV guide promoting NTTD, but the main cover image of Craig is from SP;
- Hungarian 2020 crossword book with image of Craig from the Bond 25 launch in Jamaica!

Love the sunglasses. Where does it end though? I used to have broad collection of Bond stuff but have limited to Goldeneye now due to car (and storage lol). The Goldeneye pinball was our favourite but even had to give that up. Still have some spares though like a new back box artwork waiting to be framed.
Wow those prizes are incredible. A brand new sportscar, £100,000, a trip to Monaco, Omega Speedmasters… they must’ve had a massive tax write off to do that year or something! 😄
😂 Found another….leaflet from BMW dealership
Hi hate electronics…..as soon as leaves inventors table, it’s superseded…..”state of the art GH688” apparently.
THAT post is why people rely on AJB. Outstanding. Thanks.
Thanks Matt, must get a collection thread going one of these days.
That's a great pic of the vehicles in 'tunnel'. It's like they're entering the GoldenEye title sequence.
I suppose as one runs out of space or money, you just focus on areas that give you the most amount of joy, and for me that would be the smaller non-paper props and promo toys.
Agree. I enjoyed the ‘plastic blob’ 007 Gilbert characters as they ooze that 60’s artwork.
Anyone has the 007 Condoms from the 1960s?
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
That's fun; I think I've got that one somewhere. Or maybe that promo image of the three BMWs as a postcard or something- I certainly remember it well; I'll have to have a dig.
Does anyone’s collection go this far into ‘must have’?
