Thoughts on blue linen trousers options

Hello, I am looking for opinions and information on how to choose a pair of linen trousers. I am looking specifically at the styles worn by Pierce Brosnan in the Havana scenes and by Daniel Craig in the Venice scenes.
I just got a pair in the mail from Zara and they seem pretty nice, so I am looking for thoughts as to whether they are a good match and if I should get another or a different pair instead.

I am also a little bit confused about the terminology. I read a page on Iconic Alternatives that says that they should be flat fronted but the scenes that I am looking at seem to clearly have pleating, both for Brosnan and Craig. Perhaps I am simply misunderstanding the meaning of flat fronted? See here some stills:

How about the pleating? It looks like from the references that there are some subtle but not too stiff pleats on the front. Do any know if there are pleats on the back?
And thanks for the suggestion. Since I already have the Zara trousers I just want advice if they are a good match and if I should keep or return them.
