Favourite weapon (other than the PPK) in Bond movies.

There are all kinds of weapons in Bond movies: guns, knives, underwater drills, ninja weapons etc. In my opinion an object is a weapon of it's built to be a weapon or even if it's used as a weapon, so there are lots of choices.
I think the coolest gun (other than the Walther) is the sniper rifle in TLD. Red Grant's watch my be my favorite non-gun weapon.
What do you think?

I agree, the TLD sniper rifle is one of the coolest of the no-nonsense real-world weapons and the Walther of all Walthers. Just look at that thing in Dalton's hands, it's massive.
I'm a fan of the MP5 and all its variants, but especially Bond's stealth boat configuration with flush barrel and Choate triangular side-folding stock. Looks particularly good with the stock out.
AR-7 too. In fact, all the snipers have a certain appeal to me. I've been craving a new sniper scene for a long time now.
Favourite villain firearm might be the MP40 - it's used by many an enemy (plus a woman!) in the series, and has that classic German look to it. Produced during WWII and seen as recently as Moonraker.

Blimey, that's a well thought and knowledgeable list
Thank you! No way could I decide on just one, I had to split into categories.
Bonds stiletto in Thunderball carried in an ankle scabbard and copied by one "Dirty" Harry Callahan.
Oh... I almost forgot: Bonds Fabrique Nationale Modele M35 Grande Puissance from NTTD.
Honorable mention goes to Bonds P38 from GF and P5 from OP because of those being related to each other.

Hard to ignore the Walther WA2000. It was certainly the weapon that initially came to mind when I read the title of the thread.
I also always enjoy the classic look of the Lugers used by the henchmen in FYEO. It's part of what helps give FYEO a bit of a classic spy adventure feel (despite the very 80s music etc.)
Also, honourable mention to the Gyrojet rocket gun in YOLT.
The Chinese military has gyrocopters with rockets now.

That's amazing: the rockets actually look the same as Little Nellie's. I wonder what advantage they could possibly offer, other than being cheaper.
I was thinking the same thing. Drones and helicopters can do the same battlefield missions better. Perhaps "internal security" is the intended mission?
