I think with the Menlo the main thing is the particular aged/melted(!) leather look that Levis got and I've not seen anyone else achieve that. I think you may as well just go for a Wested in one of their pre-distressed leathers or similar: the leather won't look much like the Levi's one but it'll be a well-made jacket in the right proportions, made by folk who are experts with leather.
The black Jamaica NTTD shirt is a good call though, I'd like one of those. Or go a bit further back and do an Octopussy Harrington, or a Rog safari jacket. It's not like they'd be stepping on OB's toes or anything as they're out of production.
This is a perfect example of what I mean regarding value and accuracy. $254 CAD for a shirt and they can't even use real mother of pearl buttons? And based on the name it's clearly meant to be a copy of the TB shirt but look at the very obvious differences:

I would agree on the Patterson but again, like you said with the Menlo, it needs to keep that cropped look which the jacket. 24" is the shortest it should be for xs, s and m jackets. Its meant to hit right at the waist.
OK, diving deep into dreamland here. I think Daniel is pretty focused on DC-era Bond for now, but if he ever ventured further, what would you like to see?

I agree, we need to do a higher end Morocco blazer. I love that blazer, but it has been hit and miss. The CR white shirt would be pretty straightforward. The Corduroy NTTD suit has always struck my as being quite risky. The Levi Menlo has a lot of love from me, but I dont have the answers on that one with how to achieve a satisfactory finish. Im still inclined to produce a version, which would be more in the homage basket than a replica, due to this fact.
In any case keep up the good work guys, I have an eye on this thread now. 💪

My subjective scanning of this thread says that the CR white short sleeved shirt is the crowd favourite for next addition to the RF wonderland :)
