I stumbled across this video and found it interesting.

Although I knew about the Walther PPK/PP I wasn’t aware of the other issues.

I think, in fairness to the film makers and audience in 1962, these films were not made to be studied in 4K with a pause and zoom facility. Also, 99% of people wouldn’t notice or care.
