I wonder did they ever toy with the Bond/Blofeld brothers idea In the 1960s?

Years ago I read that they were toying with the idea of  Blofeld turning out to be Goldfingers twin brother and Gert Forbe would play him but Anthony Dawsons black hair and figure looks nothing like Mr Goldfinger, I wonder did anybody think that Blofeld should turn out to be James bonds twin brother and have Sean Connery play both parts?

I've never read that, the story goes that an early draft of Diamonds featured Goldfinger's brother or twin, again played by Gert Frobe. Never heard of them having him as Blofeld's twin, totally unncecessary given Blofeld was a decent character in his own right.
