Sorry for size confusion, ... it is actually confusing:
My boots are size 12US / 11.5UK (updated). (But confusingly it says 46 EU on the box, and 47 EU in boot, so not sure how that works... so I won't use EU size as a reference)
In my original post I said that these 12US / 11.5UK boots are perhaps a tiny bit big and I COULD have gone for the 11.5 US and it would still fit well. But I'm fine with the 12US/11.5UK that I have now.
Do you think someone maybe underestimated the demand for these?
People should keep in mind that Danner is located in Portland, OR which is in Pacific Standard Time (quick Google search says it's a 7 hour offset from GMT). They're likely to go live with the sale at the start of business hours out west.
My guess is that Danner is on US West Coast time (as also mentioned by Cheverian) and will send out something any moment, and they should have the biggest stock themselves.
I don't think office hours in Portland have much to do with this. Danner is a pretty big company (and they're owned by the same Japanese company that owns Vans and Saucony) and the industrial/workboot market is huge for them. They should know very well how to operate on international hours of business. Underestimating demand (as Cheverian says) and/or poor planning seem more likely to me. Guess we'll see when it hits 9:00 AM in Oregon
I was hoping to get these since I much prefer black boots over coyote brown. But at this point, it's not worth the hastle created by all this "limited edition" bs. I'm just going to get the regular coyote brown Tanicus
But that's why: launching at 8 or 9am in Portland time would actually cover the Western world at a decent time in the day. Anything way before that would exclude US / Mid-US and West Coast at a decent time (as the 007 Store middle of the (US-)night launch caught US customers by surprise).
I own the Danner Mountain Lights in 10.5 US and couldn't be happier with the fit.
We all have differently shaped feet of course. But Danner outfits the US military so I'd expect their fits are more "standard" in that their sizes need to work across a broad diverse population.
Ah ok, sorry for all the confusion guys! I realize now that the BOX says 11UK and 46EU, but the LABEL says 11.5UK and 47EU... so both UK and EU are different, my apologies for not noticing this earlier!
Sorry, I didn't make my point clear: if Danner is large enough to have websites for various international markets (and the logistics network to supply those markets plus the support from their owner, ABC-Market), then they can coordinate an international product launch to supply those markets at the appropriate times. And organize inventory so that each market has an appropriate amount of stock. Brands do this all the time.
Plus, asking potential customers to sign up for "early notfication" and then not even sending an alert email is guaranteed to piss off more than a few people.
007.com selling out I can understand; maybe they were provided with X amount of inventory for sale on their site (I doubt the 007 store was actually warehousing it themselves; probably ships directly from Danner) and once that was gone it was gone. But Danner is dropping the ball on this, imho.
That's it. I signed up a few weeks ago through that generic box and apart from the pop-up box that said "...thanks for subscribing..." I haven't received any emails from them at all, not even a confirmation that I am on their list. Unusual, because most companies at least send out a "Thanks for subscribing..." email.

Size US 12 appears to be already sold out??
All understood. So they appear to convert differently then the quarry / mountainlight which are 12US / 11.5UK
It looks like they're almost completely sold out there now as well.
Find it hard to believe they will be limited edition (ala Connolly and Co.)
Maybe the packaging will be ltd?
Yeah that feels right to me. Who cares about packaging anyway.

Now wtf is this? 007store being sold out, Danner appears to not even be live yet? None of them e-mailing me despite the „early-access-sign-up“???
I‘d be very p!ssed if I had to buy them off of ebay from some baloon head asking for five times the retail…

Check it out, you won’t be disappointed
Agreed. Me and Welshie just discussing the same thing
1. CR. 2. TSWLM. 3. LTK. 4. GF. 5. SF.

Well, this is one way to work everyone into a lather 😄
We're about to crash Danner's site...

Easier to get a ticket to the Premier lol

Many thanks - so they are 11.5UK not 11UK. Same as my SPECTRES
International sizing is such a pain so FWIW:
I wear the 9.5 UK in Crockett & Jones boots.
I own the Danner Mountain Lights in 10.5 US and couldn't be happier with the fit.

Indeed - shows how different we all are.
Im 11 in most CJs but unlike you find Mountain Lights in 12 US too roomy even with hiking socks lol

No worries. Really appreciate you uploading the pics mate!
Man that is confusing lol Guessing the shoe is correct rather then box!

For the Danner sign up - am I correct in that it appears just to be the general generic sign up at the bottom of the page?
On another note someone here mentioned Stuarts London were getting them. They told me on Instagram just now they are not.
Also End nothing denying it also - maybe just playing games but thought better mention

Danner should be coming up any minute.
