I concur on the items Dan and ROYALE sells. Top notch. He doesn’t settle for less than the right product he wants to sell. I’m also holding out for one of these.

Well, today's the day for many of us! I've updated the post on the NTTD watch with new alternatives. Some of the suggestions have come from you fine folks here and I've tried to keep track of who deserves credit for what. But if I missed you please let me know so I can make the correction in the post;
P.S. @Garyorange that Harrington's not too bad! If the sleeves are long enough, I'd actually consider getting them hemmed to remove the elastic. It would make the jacket even closer.
I know that this Omega has never been 100% confirmed but if anyone knows a good alternative for the Vintage Omega Chronograph Caliber 321 which Bond might wears in the last scene of Spectre I would be very thankful.
Mainline J. Crew also has a nice off white henley, which I got last month.
For those who still want the R&B, I just ordered mine. I found a 15% off code on Rakuten, stacked it with 15% off my first order, and for 12% back through Rakuten. I should've just ordered it last week when the sale was better, but oh well.
Greetings! I've reworked the post on the SPECTRE mock neck sweaters with all new alternatives. And there are some really great ones this season, especially for the charcoal version
Happy Sunday! I needed a break from Bond (sacrilege, I know). So I asked Ryan from Iconic Film Style to help with an article on 1980s Action Hero Style
I'm old enough to remember when Schwarzenegger stole that one-liner shtick from Bond. I assume it was because he had trouble with the dialogue and one short sentence was the best he could do.
If I remember right Schwarzenegger didn’t have a problem speaking English, his accent was an issue of course but he knew the words. The “issue” as it were was the screenwriters and studios not being confident in the audience understanding him and writing less dialogue in turn.
One of my favorite stories is the screenwriters for Predator having their first meeting with Arnold during preproduction and then going home and immediately getting rid of the majority of his dialogue, creating the stoic attitude Dutch has in the film out of necessity
I was just being snide. But it did annoy me that Bond had formerly been known for those one-liners until Schwarzenegger made them his own. But who can dislike Predator?๐ฝ๏ธ
The next couple of weeks will be a little light on Bond clothing since I covered so much before the NTTD release. But I will have alternatives for the Skyfall Barbour and some SPECTRE jackets in there. And I am finally finishing up my review of the ROYALE Filmwear Morocco jacket!
Sorry, it's not going to happen. Honestly, I was very happy with the quality of the sample. But I just didn't think we were getting the look of the leather right. And when we started trying to dial in the details that I thought we needed, the price was really starting to climb up there. Basically, we were getting to the point where for about a hundred more you could get a very close model from someone like Schott, Simmons Bilt or Bill Kelso. And my feeling was if we couldn't do it exactly right at a price that worked, then it didn't make much sense. Hope that makes sense.
But I am working on a couple of other things for the near future that should be fun! ๐
Hi, if there’s anyone who has a medium or large RGT tan Ridgeline Supply Jacket and would like to offer to a fellow Bond fan ๐ for a sale price, let me know in chat or DM me on my Instagram @laborandluxury.

Thanks it will keep me going until the real ones come back in stock!
Cheers ๐
I’d also agree with that. Have quite a lot of Dan’s stuff and it’s excellent

Happy James Bond Day, gang!
To celebrate, I've updated an oldie but a goodie: alternatives for Bond's SPECTRE robe
Enjoy the day (and your martinis!) ๐ธ๏ธ

@Noi not sure if you saw this, but I had some alternatives in this post (at the end)
I didnt see that, scrolled through DC JB Omega Watches Part 1&2 but havent found this particular post. thank you!
J Crew Factory has a nice Rag & Bone henley alternative on sale for just under $20.

Back to basics, to the good ol' days when guys just blew stuff up and used catch phrases while wearing tank tops ๐
Cheers!

Out of that cast if characters pictured came some great one-liners.

Oh yes! Although I think credit has to go to Connery Bond for starting the trend.
Completely agree! Moore did a great job. Heck, most of the Bond actors have done great too.

@Cheverian no one can dislike Predator!
In other news, I've updated the post on McQueen's blue shawl collar cardigan.

Hi John and everyone.
Marks and Spencer’s may have done it again.
I think this could be a good match for the Haiti jacket.
@Garyorange thanks for sharing that! I'll get it into an upcoming post with credit to you.
Some Craig and McQueen style for today's post: a look at MA-1 bomber jackets
Enjoy your Saturday, gang!

“Model is 6’3 and wearing M” that’ll be why S is sold out then! See they do a Soelden esque padded jacket too, anyone got one?
Thanks for the update. That's too bad.
Where did we land on the NTTD boat to Cuba ball cap? Obviously easy to replicate but I don’t want an Amazon special.
Morning all!
Running late today, but our Best Budget Style Finds for October is now live
@JTullock23 , @MrE and @Mattia De Varti : as promised I gave you guys the credit for finding the N&F denim!
Cheers all!

Re-worked the post on the Skyfall Barbour with new alternatives:
Working on a review of a very nice sweater for tomorrow! Cheers!
