    Haha, yeah...

What prices are you seeing as the norm? Cant even find one on the market to see the value

  • Over $2,000 at this point, I'm afraid.

I think it only retailed for $400.

    Holy cow! That's nuts.

You and me both along with some other people I know. The competition for a medium would be fierce.

  • The Y-3 has always been my favorite of the Bond jackets. I've owned several throughout the years.

The real trick is finding one that hasn't had the arms hacked too short and the collar flap hacked off.

It surprised me how many people on here have horrible tailors.

What kind of outfits do you like to wear it with? Curious how you like to style it

  • Being black, and such a classic look, it can really pair with almost anything. A good looking pair of chinos, dark blue jeans, (obviously sta-prest) even athletic pants seeing as how Y-3 is an athletic wear brand. Even looks good with grey jeans or black jeans. Might even work with a nice pair of dress pants like acne studios or neil barrett, such as a textured grey trouser, though I've never tried that one. But I would say absolutely, under no circumstances should you wear it paired with shorts.

It is an amazing, and surprisingly versatile, jacket as MrE notes (I will definitely not confess to wearing it with shorts this summer when popping to the shops 🙀!). But don't despair...perseverance is they key. Having wanted one seriously for a few years I picked one up in the first lockdown of 2020 (finally with time to properly trawl eBay). It was in perfect, un-tailored, condition, and a Large, which at the time I couldn't see in recent sales whilst researching online and, as someone with a broad back, I am glad about as they run large imo compared to the TF Harrington or Barbours etc. Was also half of what Triple 7 fears...which is still a lot but was within my personal "will pay and not obsess about it and so ruin the joy of having it" spread, plus I had currency exchange working in my favour. I genuinely don't know how I would have felt at $2k.
