Just for giggles, I thought I’d do a replica of this.
Seriously, you have no idea how much hassle doing a replica sodding lunch box can be….
Bon appetite,

Nice! Looks good! Time well spent -Who makes the actual soup/food bowl and spoon.. I spent an evening on Google looking without success!
That's brilliant! It looks really great.
Well worth the effort and thanks for posting. :)
It’s a Tupperware ‘fruit on the go’ lunch bowl. However, they don’t come with white spoons, only turquoise so you’ll need to respray the spoon. They’re not made anymore and I got lucky and managed to bag 2 of them. No idea why the prop makers repainted the spoon instead of leaving it its original colour.
I had the sticker made for me, did the artwork myself. I have spares if anyone wants one.

Thanks, appreciate that MG.. the lengths the production goes to to change stuff for the screen is unreal.. could save a lot of time and money!
i actually just managed to pick one up here in NZ on our version of eBay for about a fiver, brand new, although the spoon looks a little off.
I'd be interested if you have spares.

That's brilliant, I love it when a prop has a bit of a life -and even a joke. Fantastic work.
I am going out on a limb here but the turquoise bowl features a white/cream spoon, I suspect they bought a few and swapped them round.

Now it is waste, even if it is joke!
Nicely done MG, and cheers for sharing info on the bowl - I searched for it quite a while without success.

Looked into the spoon a bit more but only ones I can find available in white are a snap together cutlery set by Tupperware but the hole at the end of the spoon is wrong. As such I think the options are to paint the existing spoon or buy two bowls (one orange one blue) and swap the spoons around. There is a blue one selling on the US ebay at the moment for about $12. The orange bowl was on Amazon yesterday with a couple left.

To give people an idea, here’s what went into this.
First, as always is some decent images. I found a perfect screen grab online which gave me a starting point to identify the bowl. During searches for ‘orange lunch bowl with white spoon’, nothing close was coming up. So I searched for just ‘orange lunch bowl’, literally hundreds of images. In the screenshot I could bake out some writing on the bowl and I took a punt. Maybe it’s Tupperware?! Et voila.
problem now was that although I’d identified the bowl, I realised it was out of stock as it’s a discontinued item. A bit of hunting and a few emails and someone emails me to say they’ve found a few, brand new, in a warehouse somewhere. So I got two ordered. When they arrived I could measure them, and scaling the screenshot I could work out the size of the sticker.
I got on to designing the artwork and finding someone who could make them. I contacted 7 people, 4 said they couldn’t do it, one of which quoted over £500…. 3 were willing to have a look, 1 of them forgot to reply, 1 couldn’t understand what a radius is and finally 1 of them offered to do me a short run. It took 3 weeks just to get to this stage.
Then on to the spoon. 5 coats of white primer and 3 coats of top colour to get it away from the original turquoise.
Finally I cut a stencil to help with the writing and bought a paint marker to put on the writing by hand. A careful placing of the stick and finally job done.
All that to get just a bloody lunch bowl done.
Imagine how much effort went into things like Maggie the TB breather, or making GF Bart homing devices….

Fascinating stuff, Singe. It's great to learn just how much time and effort goes into these things. You left out one detail, however: How much did the Small Pox cost and where did you source it from?
Love the effort and attention to detail

Exactly ! simple but fun things to do 🤪
Thanks again MG - managed to pick one up with the correct spoon handle.
Well, we'll see once it arrives (Yes, I like accuracy!)
No munchies, just the corner of an open packet of some chocolate bar, bloody tease 😂

Ah yes, Paulie Plague! Know him well. Bought a vial of the bubonics from him as a joke a few years ago.
Some people have asked for a ‘Valdo Lunchbox Sticker’ and I’ve sent a few in the post, but I get the feeling there was someone else after one.
If that was you, could you give me a poke via email at minigeff@hotmail.co.uk?
