Well fellow AJBers, am I the only one who is thinking "are they having a bloody laugh @ £1500?" at the gullibility of collectors in this 60th Anniversary year?
I thought it was bad enough when they, that is 007.com released the Taschen No Time to Die Edition 007 Archives as a box standard volume in a posh box signed by Babs, Michael and Daniel with an art print by Greg Williams for £1750. At least the previous Taschen 007 Archives Art Edition was wrapped in Gold leather, signed by Daniel with an art print signed by Sir Ken Adam was a more reasonable £600 retail.

What would be our dream merch for the 007 Store to sell?
A publication that highlights the firearms used in the Bond films 👍️
Heh! Yes that would be great 😁
Yeah, it's frankly insulting some of the tacky **** they're selling at 'luxury' prices. Snobbery is not how you expand the reach of this franchise and appeal to new generations.
The Donkey would most certainly purchase a copy 👍️
This one's pretty hilarious too at a bargain £13250.00! 👎️
And it comes in a 007 branded box ❤️💩
And no doubt given it’s the 007 Store, sub standard packaging…
I am really curious what sort of stuff folks would like to buy on there though? Would it be prop replicas?
the spyboys Facebook page

Okay, well one thing I'd certainly like would be the expanded reissue of the soundtracks they were looking at a couple of years ago: LTK and Moonraker were in there and I'd certainly be first of the queue for a MR one.
This price is unbelievably NOT a typo! 😮
Strange engraving for a lighter in Dr. No's 60th Anniversary year! 🤔 Balls Q? B*llox 007! 🤣
Its not even pleasantly or interestingly engraved. Just standard font. I couldn’t even justify the price if they knocked a zero off.
If only it said "Mr Bond" instead of "Mr. Bond". THEN it would be bloody proper to own.
Someone asked what we would like to see offered for the anniversary.
I would like to see a hardbound facsimile of someone's script for Dr. No, complete with their hand notations and printed in the same page colours as the original. If it could be a limited edition hand-signed by someone involved, even better, but off the top of my head I can't really think of anyone who is still alive who was involved in the production side of things.
Definitely!👍️
I'd like to see Sharks with fricking laser beams on their heads!
Sorry, wrong franchise! ..... or is it? Cuckoo! 🙄
You had me questioning myself there so I had to check! Mr. is still the ‘proper’ way of writing it, well at least that’s what they teach in English lessons in English school!!
Goldfinger lived as a gentleman in a British manse, so he would have "said" Mr Bond and not Mr. Bond although things have changed since the 1950's . . . like the price of gold!
There was a shark named Jaws and a Bond villain named Jaws so they must be the same thing.
I'll take one, any way so keep me posted. Maybe Felix Leiter could give us a hand...or a hand and a leg.
I note the ticker remains on 002/007...still 6 to shift!
That's a lovely idea.
How you say it makes no difference. It’’s how you write it.
Yep, the ship has sailed on whether it's correct to write it like that in Bond world 😄
(although to be fair I think it's actually not standard practice in British grammar to use the dot)
Personally I would have liked to see a 60th anniversary butt scratcher with Lee Tamahori’s face on it.

The full-stop/period/dot is correct as "Mr." is the abbreviation of "mister," "Dr." is the abbreviation for "doctor" etc. One exception is "Ms" which does not have a period because it is not an abbreviation for a word.
Now back to your desks, children. Small-Fawcett, put that chewing gum away!
Fleming used both. From CR: "Then came Lady Danvers at Number 3 and Numbers 4 and 5 were a Mr and Mrs Du Pont, rich-looking and might or might not have some of the real Du Pont money behind them."
STILL not buying a bloody zippo for half my collection.
PS. They weren't from those Du Ponts. They owned the Floridiana Resort in Miami Beach.
Would you buy the lighter if there was an exclamation mark? 😎
I would have bought one but #3 seems unavailable. Oh well. Just my luck.
Once they sold 001 and 002 - your #3 would be offered - you can buy it then - but if you write to them and asked for #3, I am sure they will gladly sell you too :-)
