From what I recall these are one of the few Belstaffs that run true to size, but they have a very high armhole. So I believe you are correct in needing a L or XL depending on your arms.
Just watch tons of fakes but try vestiaire collection there are normally some there.
I also have a Belstaff Buy/Sell group on Facebook put a wanted post up there. It’s the one with another 12k followers
I have a size large, it does run big for Belstaff. Mine is in perfect condition.
Only reason I haven't worn it, it's a little big.
