Hi. Today I was at an after-church event that involved archery, just like they did it in England during the middle ages. A girl of about nine shot off some arrows, but concluded: "Shooting guns is easier". The countryside really is different. 😁
Though I have actually been retired for 9 years now (how quick time flies) it is only within the last week that I have officially arrived at being a senior citizen according to the UK rules of attaining the age of 66. I look forward to receiving my first state pension payment later this month and in honour of that I will have a Zombie cocktail, please.

Thank you for your concern, Barbel. We’ve caught the tail of a typhoon over the last few days here and there has been torrential rains and strong winds. But all is well in this part of the city apart from some flooding of some roads. There are reports of 45 people having been killed in landslides in other areas of the country, very sad, indeed.
