Does anyone have a spare ticket that I could grab, by the remotest of chances? I'm suddenly available!

Sorry Bond Vivant, no spare tickets. Hopefully you managed to find one!

That was a pretty fantastic show. Mr Arnold chose an excellent spread of music, representing almost all of the Bond composers (messrs Kamen and Comti didn’t get a showing, but I guess there’s a lot of ground to cover!). Some fantastic performances too: I didn’t expect to enjoy Goldfinger quite as much I did: just amazing. And Lulu doing Golden Gun was pretty brilliant. Skin was a bit of a standout doing LALD; she was having a lot of fun!

Incredible night! Great to watch Zimmer and Arnold duelling with guitars and a very moving speech by Don Black on his dear friend John Barry. Saw a lot of the Bond community there too!

Wow that looks amazing! Was it available to the public or just special guests?

Anyone could go. I spotted a few famous faces in the crowd; we were sat near Madeline Smith, saw Chris Courbould, Walliams, Purvis & Wade, Lynn Holly Johnson, Don Black, John Glen, Lashana Lynch (looking stunning), Paul Hollywood(!), Aaron and Sam Taylor-Johnson, Steven Moffat, the Broccolis (from afar)... I'm sure there were lots and lots of interesting people I didn't spot too- by the sounds of Arnold's speech they'd invited 'the Bond extended family'. I imagine there was a fun Eon private party afterwards! Kind of frustrating there wasn't time to wander around and just look at everyone! 😁

    Amazing photo's @_Stocks!

Were programs given out at the concert?

I bought a programme, it's nicely done; and like everything else to do with the 60th really nicely designed. I'd love to know who the graphic designers are who've been doing this.

It says in the back that copies will be available on 007store.com

As long as you could get a ticket, you were in!

Thank you. Programs were £20, but as emtiem mentioned, they are nicely done

Looks fantastic, I missed out here.

Lets hope Steven Moffat was attending as a fan and hasn't been approached to write the next Bond movie - you would think he’d keep a low profile given his latest far fetched tripe on the BBC.

David Arnold scored the 'tripe' you mention, so there's your fairly obvious link there.

Does anyone know if the actual concert is going to be on Amazon Prime? I know there is a documentary on there.

Yes I think he's got the whole thing which is good, I can't think of any cues that are missing there.

You never know, maybe Prime or 007 will upload a missing track or two to YouTube or something.

A highlight for me was David Arnolds tribute to Chris Cornell and then nailing of You Know My Name. Was so glad he included it as not only an incredible theme...and song...but was sadly brushed over in the documentary.

It was an incredible evening. Some touching moments like Royale-Les-Eaux mention and Shirley Bassey was phenomenal, even more so considering she is now 85.

Also enjoyed bumping in to @The Bond Experience and @Remmert007.

This concert certainly looked worthwhile. At the risk of sounding jealous - which I am - while the soundtracks are always great listening, it's not always the same in a live concert. Though this seemed more popular with the Bond network than than the BFI OO7 weekend, which was movie centred - and which Babs pulled out of for a still unknown reason - is that because of the BFI booking system, I wonder? Or the lack of decent [ie. large] facilities on site? I'm sure if the BFI wanted to they could have hired as a one-off the L. Sq Odeon for a Dr No screening and Q&A. Ah well.

Thanks for the pix and reports guys. Really wish I could gave attended that.

I would pay for a full version, it was that impressive. Massive kudos to David Arnold for pulling off the very tricky gig of satisfying everyone. He always seems like a straight up lovely guy.

it reminded me of seeing John Barry play there in ‘98 (I can’t imagine that Mr Arnold wasn’t there too) - I wish that had been recorded.

^ Agreed ^ the concert on Prime is good coverage of the performers but it lacks the wonderful atmosphere and emotion that some of the score pieces provided. The End Title from Spectre and the piece from Thunderball were electrifying heard live by a full orchestra

Well, just home from Spectre in Concert at the RAH, as introduced by Sam Mendes...who gave up a few tidbits from filming in his speech, following on from Casino and Skyfall.

All magnificent but Spectre an extra treat as it gets the least love. Lots of belly laughs and gasps. Validated when walking past a...well loved stunt co-ordinators'...box during the intermission and hearing exclaimed "it's a much better film than I remember". Something I think every time.

Sounds like fun. Were there any musical moments which stood out when performed live?
