I'm surprised there are so few reports here from people who've purchased some of the new items. I'd love to see some photos and hear some comments about fit, sizing, and material. But maybe everyone is like me, waiting for someone else to pull the trigger. 😁
On the Bond Anniversary clothing thread I posted this-
I tried on the new N Peal Collection on Wednesday. They only had certain sizes in stock, so quite a few of the pieces were at least one size too large for me, but you get the idea! I am a 31" waist and 41" chest. I would say that the 38/small in most things gave me a fitted look, but could have gone up to a 40 for a more relaxed fit. The Goldfinger suit is definitely a Connery fit!
The polo shirt and jumper were a medium, and I would definitely have sized down to a small. The TMWTGG jacket was 2 or 3 sizes too big, but actually surprised me. I saw it in a stealth viewing the week before, and couldn't place it (I thought N Peal were "evoking" the plaid jacket Lazenby wore in OHMSS), and didn't like it. But trying it on, I can see it being one of the stand out pieces of the collection. A bit like the OB onesie...
Thanks, Blair. I saw the photos, but the sizing information is very helpful. I am still trying to make up my mind on several of the pieces although usually there's no other option but to order one and hope it fits.
I'm about a 41" chest and 31/32 waist and just ordered a 40 in the Nehru. It will likely take a couple of weeks to reach me living as I do in the wilds of hostility, but I will post how it fits. It's a nuisance if I have to exchange it for a 38 even though NP are good to deal with, so hopefully it won't be necessary.
I agree. I love NP's stuff and although their version will unquestionably be beautifully soft and comfortable, why wouldn't someone just go with the original?
The Connery 3 piece can easily double as a Skyfall PTS suit, and (though it may be a stretch) the Nehru jacket double for the Brunello Cucinelli chore coat.
I am surprising my self saying this but the sports jacket from TMWTGG is the one item i want badly after seeing these photos. Even though the sizing is off.
I know it’s expensive but it’s still available from N.Peal, and as someone who owns both the lapis and the charcoal, I’d encourage you to buy new. The cashmere is very thin, more like the finest merino you’ve ever worn. I wouldn’t buy something so delicate secondhand but that’s just me. Maybe someone has a shirt they never wore.
That is really good. I love the look of the Nehru in the pictures but am yet to see it in person. I am heading to London tomorrow so there is a distinct possibility I will come home £495 lighter in the pocket.
I am still incredibly surprised by the GF choices given the Slazenger and Anthony Sinclair ‘originals’ are still available. I would imagine most interested parties would gravitate toward those rather than homage pieces, but that is purely my opinion. Not based on fact.

In terms of the hot sellers, I can’t say I’m surprised. That velvety dinner jacket isn’t my thing, but I can see how it’s a good party piece for a lot of people.
Why N.Peal did the Slazenger sweater is beyond me. The GF suit is something I’d have to see and touch since that kind of tailoring is a new universe for them, as I understand it.
I'd like to purchase a few items, but I was wondering if anyone here in the US has purchased directly from the UK website. Is it possible? With the current exchange rate and lack of VAT it seems to be cheaper.
I did the conversions recently and didn't see much of a savings. A month ago, definitely!
As an aside, I scored a T&A Dr No Cocktail Cuff from their UK site for something like $250 US before they got wise to the shenanigans. Now I can't seem to access the Turnbull and Asser UK site at all. (Any tips for getting in from the US?)
Which N.Peal item can you point to where the savings warrant ordering from their British site, if I may ask?
I have also just received my Nehru and I can only echo Gymkata's points. The jacket is beautifully made and just feels - and looks - gorgeous. I am a 40-short verging on a 41. I wanted the jacket to have a slim, fitted look when buttoned so I gambled and went for the 40. It's a snug fit but the shoulders and the sleeves are absolutely perfect. The chest is a little snug for me and I will likely have it let-out. Alas, my brilliant seamstress went out of business during Covid and I haven't yet found a replacement that I can trust for anything more than hems and basic work. I will wear the Nehru in the meantime, but I will be looking to have a very slight adjustment made when I can.
I don't know what to think about the TMWTTG sport coat being so popular. Price might be part of it. But when I look at it as a patterned coat, apart from the tenuous Bond connection, I don't see it as remarkable. Would I pick it up in a Nordstrom's? I don't think I would. But it's cool so many people are loving it.

Blair @The Bond Vivant tried on the pieces recently https://www.ajb007.co.uk/discussion/comment/1050675#Comment_1050675 I think he's a 40 chest but not sure if he's wearing the 38 or 40. It looked a pretty decent fit, whatever it was.

Yeah original for sure with that one!!

Thanks again Blair. Was the Nehru you tried a 38? I'm a 38 chest so would probably need a 36 (which they don't do..😒)

Has anyone pulled the trigger and purchased an item from the collection? Let’s see pictures!
I’m looking for a Fine Gauge Cashmere Mock Turtleneck in lapis blue size medium if someone have one to sell
I know it’s expensive but it’s still available from N.Peal, and as someone who owns both the lapis and the charcoal, I’d encourage you to buy new. It’s not available yet, they only have the charcoal one that why I’m looking if someone is selling one
Isn't this it? Looks available to me. https://us.npeal.com/products/mens-fine-gauge-cashmere-mock-turtle-neck-jumper-lapis-blue?variant=43299521462438¤cy=USD&utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=google+shopping&gclid=Cj0KCQjwnbmaBhD-ARIsAGTPcfVXRuYFlI8-1aKsuroAP1rBbJpGuQV9heG3iLDWGeuJusYZT3ad8P0aAqJgEALw_wcB
It’s not exactly the same.. but very close
Whats different?
The description says "- Seen famously on a certain spy of the big screen!"
I think they have just "unbadged" it.
They have just unbadged it, it's the same as was previously in the 007 collection without the insignia.
I purchased it last week in the Burlington Arcade store.
Even better that the label is unbadged if you ask me. I like to wear clothes worn by 007, not clothes with 007 on them, if that makes sense.
Agree 100%. I was incredibly pleased by the lack of 007 branding.
That is really good. I love the look of the Nehru in the pictures but am yet to see it in person. I am heading to London tomorrow so there is a distinct possibility I will come home £495 lighter in the pocket.

Thanks from me as well, @Gymkata

Thoughts?
I have done this. You may need to pay for shipping, but it's still cheaper. I also confirmed that free returns are accepted regardless of website.
You can, but the prices on the UK site are significantly less at the current exchange rate. Paying 20GBP for shipping is still worth the savings.

This applies to most items I think. The Spectre mock necks specifically, I bought for approximately 330 USD each, compared to 410 on the US site.

Just got the Nehru jacket as well. Size 38 fits great - I am a size EU48 in almost everything.
