The Man Who Cannot Die ...
Original Baron Samedi FX head as appeared in the cemetery sequence near the conclusion of LALD.
Conceived by Visual Effects Supervisor Derek Meddings and sculpted by Rick Baker with mechanics by Peter Biggs and pyrotechnics by Ian Wingrove.
Painted latex over foam rubber. The "eye roll" mechanism was listed as not working but required only that a long-hardened rubber band be replaced with new elastic.
The "blown off" section was tacked in place with nails which had rusted and is now secured with magnets.
Shown with Moore's screen-worn holster and a Smith & Wesson model 29-2 identical to that used in the scene.
(Also acquired a plastic replica for safety should the lot ever be publicly displayed.)
Offered in an auction of his personal effects, the prop was presumably gifted to actor Geoffrey Holder at the completion of filming,

Her Majesty’s loyal terrier, defender of the so called faith.
Love the love for the Sideshow Sir Rog figure!
Fantastic! however if you ever wanted confirmation that EON do not give a damn about their heritage? you securing the piece and probably outbidding them? is that confirmation! 🙄
Well done! Mr. Holder agrees! (Our New York Bond Collectors' Weekend event.)
