Supposedly he was the new Saint, but as per usual with the Saint, they cast someone and never actually manage to make the thing. I could actually see him being quite good as Templar, probably better than as Bond.
Probably doesn't mean a thing but there were a few young actors and actresses at the Omega 60th anniversary event with DC. Most notable... KJ Apa (25 years old from New Zealand). And London actress Daisy Edgar Jones.
Hopefully the next Bond won't be as gloomy and depressing as Craig, but not too young with the emphasis on being just a sexy actor with a baby face. He should be around 40, presenting as a seasoned operative, mature and experienced, upbeat and confident. Sixty years is a long enough time to judge the other Bonds to find the right balance. And hopefully NO MORE VIDEO GAME STYLE BRUTAL VIOLENCE.

Sir Miles, what I meant to say is that some potential new Bonds mentioned along the way are very young, i.e. around 30, and are known for their sexy style as actors. Their youth gives them less of a mature visage than we have seen with other Bonds, which doesn't work well with the idea of a seasoned, mature, experienced operative. In my own personal opinion. That's all I was suggesting.
Every young hopeful that wandered into that Omega event almost certainly took himself out of the running by doing so 😂
KJ Apa has been playing Archie (y'know, from the comics) on RIVERDALE for the past five years. That's marginally less radioactive than "Played Superman and also The Man From U.N.C.L.E." on the list of casting caveats...

It seems ATJ's role in Bullet Train is what got people talking about him as Bond. I don't doubt he's a top candidate, but they already have their man RJP (who was recently at the Knives Out premiere 🤔)
Some time ago a couple of members called a post I made "creepy". It's a nasty thing to say and it made me feel very down. When even Sir Miles admits that Dovy's post can be read either way it's very unnecessary to both make the comment and to leave it in the forum.
He's got improving acting chops. I have other personal favourites...but who knows they might be terrible and he might be amazing. Certainly can't think of a reason not to root for him, or anyone, if they get the part.
He does seem to like to take his pants (English usage) off on screen with the same regularity McConaughey used to like removing his shirt...so Q might have to work on a solution to that, for propriety's sake!
"so, Aaron, in this scene we're filming you rescuing the Ambassador from an assassination attempt at the Opera..."
"...and you're sure my character would be wearing pants?!"

Other than a few actors who're too old, especially Idris Elba, this list is better than most we see in the media.
Too old according to the producers.
Yes.. thought he could be a good choice.. only about 28..was great in underground Railway

Why do you want a sexy actor with a baby face…? Sounds rather creepy to me 😖
Read his post again...slower this time. 😂

Read slow or fast, makes no difference 🤷🏻♂️ probably should have been worded better if he means the opposite 👀
I hope reading it again would've made some difference, especially discovering the word "not" in this sentence.
"but not too young with the emphasis on being just a sexy actor with a baby face".
Calling something another member writes "creepy" isn't nice, especially when it's based on reading things wrong.
I didn’t read it wrong…I read the exact words as posted…it can be read either way…it would have been far better to write that sentence this way…
”but not too young without the emphasis on being just a sexy actor with a baby face”
That just clarifies it and removes any confusion.
As written, it does come across as creepy 🤷🏻♂️
I guess we have to ask Dovy himself what he wanted to say. Dovy?
Aaron Taylor-Johnson is 'top choice to become the next James Bond after impressing bosses in secret audition'
What's the word on his acting?
He's a good actor in my opinion.
That'd be a real "hold my beer" choice for the crowd who thought Craig thought the role was "beneath" him...
It was pretty clear to me too, just as you say.
Didn't mean to steal your thunder(ball)!

Taylor Johnson was at the Sound of 007 concert...

Really?
I'm not on team ATJ and so enjoyed Grace Randolph's take.

Aaron Taylor Johnson already has the first qualification to play Bond: people here are prepared to hate him.

I like Taylor-Johnson for Bond also as I have previously posted here but it's all just another rumor with many more to come.
EON will probably end up fooling us all anyway.
If it happens, Aaron Taylor-Johnson (ATJ) absolutely needs to play opposite Anya Taylor Joy (ATJ) for his first film as Bond.
Sign me up.
About what precisely?
Taylor Johnson seems too young at 32. My cutoff would be around 40, give or take.
Am I the only one who is so disenchanted with the whole thing that I couldn’t give a ****?
