Wouldn't that mean that they would be subject to the no new registrations as mentioned above?
I see there is an invitation mentioned on my profile but it does nothing.

We've been having a terrible spam problem recently, which has led to us being closed for new members. Since obviously that can't go on, I'll ask SiCo if we can lift that ban now.
Be prepared for the action to be repeated, though, if the problem recurs.
And apologies to your friend, of course, from all of the admin people.

if not let me know the whole page will only work if you’re logged in).
It works for me, sends me an email and lists all my invites underneath.
I don’t really know how to actually fix the problem at the moment.

If I click Invitations all it does is look at me and laughs so............
No problem, it's just a mate said he tried to join and he couldn't so I thought I'd be "clever" and invite him.
