Just in case you haven't seen it yet.
I was personally involved in this project and hope that any guitarists or hardcore collectors may find space on their wall or in their collection for one of these.
There are some great goodies and a fantastic homage to FRWL in the guitar case being produced as I speak, which will be given away with each guitar sold. All will be revealed when we get everything together!
German guitar maker Duesenberg joins forces with Bond, and long-term collaborator and five-time 007 composer David Arnold, to release the James Bond 007 Guitar – Signed & Numbered David Arnold Edition.
Strictly limited to 75, each individually numbered instrument is handmade and personally signed by David Arnold to celebrate 60 years of James Bond on screen.
The guitar is inspired by a custom Duesenberg model co-created with David Arnold for the Sound of 007 in Concert in October 2022. Played by David Arnold and Hans Zimmer at the anniversary event, the guitar was then signed by the artists and auctioned for charity at Christie’s.
Based on Duesenberg’s Paloma, the new guitar features a black and white gun barrel design, 007 engraved tone and volume knobs, and a graphic layout of all 25 Bond film title treatments on its back.
“Ever since Chris Cornell introduced me to Duesenberg Guitars whilst we were working on Casino Royale, I‘ve been a huge fan of their instruments.” said David Arnold. “They‘re brilliantly engineered, have a fantastic design aesthetic and an idiosyncratic sound.”
“The Paloma is the guitar I‘d wanted since I started playing. It has a beautiful shape, finish and sound which seems to cover all the best sounds of every other guitar I‘ve played – but in the one instrument. To be asked to design this special limited edition instrument with the guys at Duesenberg was very much a first for me. I hope whoever gets their hands on one plays something from the Bond back catalogue when they take it out of the case.”
Duesenberg Guitars have a long-standing association with 007 artists, being played on the scores for Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, on Chris Cornell’s Casino Royale theme ‘You Know My Name’, and by Adele’s band on ‘Skyfall’.
The Duesenberg 007 David Arnold Edition Guitar is available to pre-order now exclusively at 007Store.com.

Congratulations on your work, sounded great at Sound of 007.
Duesenberg are absolutely amazing guitars. I’m a long time Strat fan, and have/had Gibsons, Ibanez and PRS guitars. Doozies leave the big two in the dust in terms of quality control. They are the pinnacle of guitar manufacturing and I’m super proud to have a Starplayer in my collection. And the sound and playability are second to none too. I still love my Strats, but the Doozy is my #1.
The David Arnold edition is so cool, and all the extra case candy and extras really make this an outstanding collectible. Just the case alone is incredible. David’s choice of the Paloma is spot on as the name conjours up images of other curves and contours of someone with that name. At least you can get your hands on the guitar
Oh, and Poppy, the Princess of Shred has one too. So you can’t argue with that. Well.. you can, but she’d tell you you’re wrong.
Man I wish I could play
It’s never too late to start learning, and within weeks you can play tunes with just a handful of chords. I started teaching Poppy during lockdown and there’s a ton of tutorials on YouTube now. So you can easily self teach. In just two years she’s become an amazing player.
Nice collection...love those fret inlays.
I would second that. It's never too late to learn a new skill and pretty easy to buy a half decent guitar and get started. I taught myself at 14 with the help of Bert Weedon's book (many years ago now...!) And my guitar(s) have been a constant companion and source of pleasure and escapement.
Agree, the Duesenberg is a beaut. Would definitely add to my collection if I had the space and spare change!
Glad to see you have Coupling in your dvd collection 🤣
Watched the whole series again just before Christmas 😀
Coupling is brilliant. So cleverly written.
Hmmm you have me thinking.
I love the signed Goldeneye senitype, been after one of those for ages.
Should I watch Coupling again?
Perhaps, perhaps, perhaps.
I can't believe the price they are charging.

"I never joke about my work, 007."
My last 9-5 involved auctioning signed guitars for charity and, frankly, this is quite reasonable, particularly given it's a high-end model and not just one grabbed off the rack strictly as a vehicle for someone's autograph.
Update... see edited post above :-)
