I'm getting the feeling, between listening carefully to McQ's comments and the Part 1\Part 2 designation, that they're going for an Infnity War\Endgame level shocking cliffhanger.
I find the whole pt1/2 thing quite odd, because McQ has always so careful with his MI movies that you never have to have seen any of the previous ones: even in Fallout which dealt with the return of Ethan's wife etc. her existence was explained earlier in the movie so you'd understand that he was previously married even without having seen MI3 etc. So to do a cliffhanger and a Pt2 which would heavily depend on the previous film seems a departure in style for him. It will be interesting to see how he does it, and whether the two films will be standalone enough for a casual cinemagoer to watch either without having to see the other.
Yes indeed; I believe they'd done one the year before in sportscars (with pretty much the same dialogue) but that one hasn't crept out so far! I'm glad this one has though, it's a pretty incredible little scene.
New to my ever growing Film & TV Jacket collection: the Matchless Craig Blouson in green Nappa leather as worn by Tom Cruise in the Venice scenes. See posts 87 through 89 of this thread.
In artificial and indirect light the jacket looks black, but in direct sunlight the green pops.
I will say the Matchless badge is rather unobtrusive on the dark leather. I stand by my derision of the badge on the Spectre suede version of the jacket.
I might have mentioned it already, but speaking of green jackets: have a watch of Fallout and the green leather jacket that Benji wears- when he puts the mask on and pretends to be Lane, it magically turns to brown! :D
I'm not sure if it has been mentioned, but I'm fairly sure that the leather jacket worn by Benji / Solomon Lane is the same jacket worn by Sam Witwicky in Transformer: Revenge of the Fallen. It's made by an Italian brand called DROMe, and it's simply called "Leather bomber jacket".
Maybe a QC thing, I ordered the ‘in stock’ Terminator jacket from their website last summer ,delivery date consistently changed and different excuses for delays I ended up getting my bank involved to get my money back 3 months later, they did send me a leather sneaker case as a apology tho.
I haven't found a resource for this, but what items did Ethan Hunt combine with the John Varvatos Cafe Racer (or was it Matchless?) for the outfit he wore in M:I6? A navy mock neck, it seems. What about trousers and boots?

He just confirmed it as there was a question in regards to the different hair lengths.

This is amazing!
And Tom’s outfit looks pretty good too.
Thank you for this! Finally that Cinema Con teaser for the Dead Reckoning teaser got out.
That was pretty awesome. Really appreciate the Indiana Jones vibe of the outfit.

Probably the clearest shot of the Cruiser from the CinemaCon-teaser for M:I…
So…can anybody work with that and identify the jacket? 😇
The collar reminded me of the Menlo from Skyfall…

Not much to go on there! 😁 It looks like it'll be a nice one though, looking forward to seeing more of it.

looks awesome!
The latest Top Gun Maverick insane promo stunt gives us more looks at the bomber jacket.
I have that baby in black and its a beautiful jacket, the green really is a different spin on it .
In the cinema probably won't even know

As you can see it's actually a grey jacket.
Nice work. So Benji and Lane both get their jackets changed in colour! Presumably in post production.
The new Craig Blouson no longer has the badge
At least mine doesn't, I received it last week
interesting! Could it have fallen off? 😁
They still show the badge in the pics on their website, Congrats on your jacket being free of the badge.
Maybe its a QC thing and they forgot to add it to mine 😂

QC has always been an issue with the Spectre blouson, but in this case it may have worked in your favor @hli600.

The suede cafe racer was John Varvatos. The boots were custom made by Jeff Churchill of Jitterbug Boy in Toronto.

I don't think the sweater or trousers were ever identified.
