"The Australian based Roller Coaster Films revealed today, via an IndieGoGo campaign, that they are currently working on a partially crowd funded documentary about Rare’s ‘GoldenEye 007’ for Nintendo 64.
The aptly titled, ‘GoldenEra‘ seeks to explore and discuss the history and impact of how a small and inexperienced team went on to create one of the most respected and influential games ever created, forever changing the way video games were played."

Just ordered my copy of Golden Era, the documentary about the video game Goldeneye 007 from this link:GoldenEra: A Movie About The Game That Defined A Generation – Vinegar Syndrome
Cannot wait to see this, Goldeneye 007 is still one of my all time favorite video games, and I am really glad that it available on the Nintendo Switch and Xbox to fans young and old alike to enjoy.
GoldenEra has been playing on Sky tv in the U.K. for months 👍🏻
Just as an FYI, a port of the original Goldeneye made with input from original developer Rare is already available to play on the Xbox One / Xbox Series S / Xbox Series X right now. It can be purchased outright or if you own the Rare Replay collection it's a free add-on. I played the first few levels and from my recollection it looks and plays pretty much exactly like the original game - meaning you get the same fun gunplay but also those classic retro low-res graphics.
@TonyDP: Thanks for the heads up. Goldeneye 007 is also available to download on the Nintendo Switch as well. I am planning on downloading it in the near future. Got a Nintendo Switch points card saved just for the occasion.
Getting back on topic, I got my copy of the documentary Goldenera and I started watching it. I had almost forgotten just how big of an impact the video game had back in the day. Especially considering how first-person shooters were largely more successful on PC's than home consoles. Being built from the ground up as a console game, really worked in Goldeneye's favor. Likewise having a number of James Bond fans on the staff at Rare helped as well.
