I really want to see the 'Patrice token' - I think one went up for auction a few years back. I can't see it as a reproducible item due to the intricacy. It almost looks carved. 3d printing would seem that only way I could think but the quality unlikely to match.

The hero was made from 5 pieces. A hard resin almost ceramic red body. The two inserts were brass then gold plated. Then you have two gold plated brass rings around the edge. The ones that have come up for sale are ‘stunts’ made for long shots. With the four add on pieces cast in resin and spray painted gold while the body was a red resin and slightly lighter in colour from the hero.
Amazing knowledge thanks- just spotted one up with prop store. Assuming stunt piece as doesn't look great up close.

Out of curiosity, Are there any photo comparisons of the hero plaque?
None in the public domain I’m afraid.

No. As far as I know they only made three.

I saw differences between ones that had or didn't have a polish applied to the dragon, almost like a nail varnish coating . . . ?
That’s right. Some had clear coat on them.
