Good idea, I don't know if Kingsmen would be a plus or a minus for BB. I see that Matt Vaughn co-wrote The Debt. I'd have to add that Goldman and Vaughn are both in their 50s. I think the new writer(s) being in their 30s will be important.
We have seen that BB likes auteur directors and while I think we can see the next Bond will be very different I am not so sure as others are that we'll see a more fun Bond.
I think the Bond movies reflect the times we live in and there's a lot of war going on at the moment and there could be a lot more on the way. It's not the 1990s anymore.

I've mentioned Wilson-Cairnes, and I think she's a candidate. Generally speaking I think having one or more women in the writing staff is a good way to update the movies in a good way and maybe pull in more female fans without going overbord ("Jane Bond").

DAF (1971) Plot was space related with Apollo references in the movie like the Moon buggy, and at the time the Apollo missions were ongoing. They didn't end until December 1972.
Live and Let Die (1973) was about the drug trade, which Nixon had declared a 'war' on.
TMWTGG (1975) had a plot linked to the energy 'crisis' that occurred back then.
TSWLV (1977) had the threat of nuclear war.
Moonraker (1979) would have been released the same year NASA had originally planned for the Space Shuttle to fly, instead that was delayed to 1981.
FYEO (1981) was a classic Cold War thriller.
I think goofy was more to do with what Sir Roger Moore wanted. We won't get that again. Austen Powers ended goofy EON films IMHO. Bond films have always reflected the world around them.
Yes, this could be the delayed start to what I had heard about marketing deals for Bond26 for a 2024 release but I think the SAG and WGA strikes ended that timetable. A 2025 Bond26 seems more on the cards.
Like CR, hopefully we'll get an official 007th Bond actor announcement in October 2024 before January 2025 filming begins for the normal October release.
I don't know what you mean by "way younger", but i don't think EON will go very young. Maybe an actor in his late twenties if he looks unusually mature for his age, but mid-thirties is what they're saying and I find that the most likely.

So, maybe it will be an October 2024 ATJ Bond26 announcement after Kraven's August 30 release as films are typically in theatres for 30-60 days, so a successful box office for Kraven would be good for a Bond announcement,

I happened across the film crews for it myself in Surrey. And no matter when it was shot it still doesn’t mean he was announced as 007 last March, because he wasn’t 😄
The only element of the video I had issues with was the double-0 section being cash-strapped. I like Bond's luxurious lifestyle with the cars, food, hotels, suits etc. But the solution could be have a well off/rich Bond and a poor 00-section. Bond inherited a large sum from his parents and invested them well, so he can afford those luxuries. He chose to join a poor organization because he found the work challenging and exciting. This makes him the odd man out in the section, and he has to earn his friendships with Tanner and Moneypenny. Bond can have an Aston Martin with gadgets because Q and 007 worked on his private car.
A poor 007-section can force the unit (and the writers) to think outside the box. I mentioned a scenario some time ago. Bond is living in a hotel and he's waiting for an important message, but both Bond and the section knows that all phones and signals traffic is being monitored and controlled by the villain. What to do? Bond walks down to the concierge the next morning and asks if there are any letters for him. There is, and the villain never thought of old-fashioned snail mail so he didn't stop it.
Bond and the 00-section has to be smart and open-minded to get around the budget issues. The Q-branch still has technically advanced and expensive gadgets, but only when necessary and Q's warnings about bringing it back in one piece gets more meaning.
I guess the issue is, if Bond is the only double-O we really follow (he is the star of the film after all) and Q still gives him the good gadgets when he needs, what would the 00-section not having any cash actually mean on screen? We'd still be seeing the Astons and sharp suits etc. I guess I'm not seeing what dimension that would bring to it.
In my opinion a cash-strapped 00-section would mean the gadgets are rare, sometimes valuable and often re-builds, old gadgets or versions of old gadgets from as far back as WWII and most of all thinking out of the box.
The best gadgets in the films are always the out-of-the-box ones though; I don't know if they need a story reason to aim for that as they should hopefully be going for it anyway! I guess it could be fun if they were a little out of date and rubbish, like that Mission Impossible film where all of the gadgets go wrong.
The 00-section would need to save money themselves too. For example agents stealing passports and tickets in airports and changing them like Bond did in TWINE before the missile silo, both for hiding his movements and to save money. Or stealing mobile phones and clothes.

I didn't know The Hour was a spy thriller, and she won an Emmy for it. And it was 12 years ago. Looking at her IMDB page she is very political. May be she wouldn't want to do a Bond.
There are espionage elements in The Hour. There are also political entries in her writing work, but most of it isn't. The Invisible Woman, Shame, The Hour (it would've been political 60 years ago, but I'd say it's more historical now). I haven't seen The Split or River, but they don't look political. To me it seems like Abi Morgan is a very talented writer who sometimes does political stuff, but she's perfectly happy to do other things and most of her work isn't political. It would be interesting to see what Morgan could do together with a writer like Goldman. The first does character, dialogue and tension very well, the second does humor, action and spectacle very well.
