A decision probably taken out of his hands for the sake of continuity. DC arrived in Matera to film long after the bridge jump was filmed and the stunt double buttoned the top button to try and conceal the cords as much as possible
That makes sense, I was also thinking within the context of the film maybe he buttons it all the way up so its not flapping around when he jumps over the bridge. But earlier pics from the cemetery show it buttoned that way anyway.
If flapping around was a concern, buttoning the bottom would have done a lot more than buttoning the top. I think the top is buttoned to conceal a harness.
Looks like the Aqua terra has been narrowed down to two models, based on the date window being on the right. I’m hopeful it will be a continuation of the 41.5 mm Bond wore in the ending of Spectre (not the vintage from the DB5 scene).
Aren’t the models with the vertical lines discontinued?
Pulled this off the site today looks like they brought this particular model back.
I went to the Omega Boutique today and showed them the pictures from their website. They said the problem with their site is that it also pulls older and discontinued watches. They said the Aqua Terras with the vertical lines are discontinued and will not come back. Unfortunately

Exactly my point, aside from my incorrect use of the word 'cords'.

I finally took delivery of my Alexander Olch tie, so I snapped a few pics of the tie paired with my Cucinelli chambray shirt and Albert Thurston braces.
Now anxiously awaiting delivery of my MA Sloop suit...
How did you get hold of the Brunello Cucinelli shirt? Thought I read it was out of stock for the season and to wait until spring... or was it something about the buttons...? Also, I'm not familiar with where to buy Cucinelli.
Also, Cavour.co has the drakes chukkas for less than some other sites. Have bought them and the Skyfall Islay boots from them, so it seems a good shop.
Kind of liking this look with the CR Loake Tappers
MAN does that look fantastic with the Trappers!
Sadly, I returned the RGT jacket because I just can't get over my texture aversion to waxed cloth. I really wish they'd do a "dry" version in the same color.

Anybody get the screen-accurate forehead vein yet?

The shirt I purchased is from the Spring/Summer '20 Collection, which is currently available at Brunello Cucinelli's Online Shop. When Blair received confirmation from his BC rep that the shirt was from Cucinelli, I began tracking the possible versions of the shirt, as this is one of Cucinelli's staple items that appears each season with slight variations. You can see from the photo below that the shirt has appeared in each season's collection with subtle changes.
The shirt that would have been available to the Costume department before principal photography began would be the shirt on the far left, part of the Spring/Summer '19 Collection, available this time last year. It's a Basic Fit twill chambray button-down collar with two-button barrel cuffs and mother of pearl buttons. The color code was C008. The shirt had already been discontinued and not available for sale when the confirmation was made.
The shirt in the middle was available as part of the Fall/Winter '19 Collection. It was also a Basic Fit shirt with the same features as the Spring shirt - the color code was also C008 but looks darker here - simply from the way the shirt photographs. The only difference between the 2 seasons was swapping out the mother of pearl buttons for the mother of horn buttons.
The last shirt is from the current Spring/Summer '20 Collection. This shirt has the same features as the S/S '19 shirt, and same C008 color code, but it is now made in a Slim Fit, not the Basic Fit. I've had the opportunity to wear a number of BC's different fits - Basic, Italian, Slim, and Leisure. The Basic fit is easily described as boxy - not flattering to most body shapes. I can only imagine that DC's shirt was heavily tailored, as most or all of his wardrobe was. I opted to purchase the Slim fit version since this is what I typically wear - now I don't need to have the body tailored to fit.
My guess is that for the Fall/Winter '20 Collection, the Slim fit version will be available with the horn buttons, and for Spring/Summer '21, it will be a Leisure Fit shirt. Just my thoughts though based on previous seasons.
As for the buttons question, I can't quite tell if DC's shirt has mother of pearl buttons, or if the Costume department swapped them out with a blue iridescent button, which I have seen on BC polos. But at this point, I can only surmise that changing out 15 buttons on 20+ shirts would be a massive task unless BC did it themselves if the shirt order was custom for the Costume department. If the shirt was off-the-rack, they would have been the mother of pearl buttons. They were definitely not the horn buttons.

Good choice! I took BC shirts, too. Mine is "Colour block shirt (Permanent Collection".
Off cource, I've purchaced AW tie AT braes.
Now, I'm resizing my sloop suits which I took from Yoox.
I think that first measurement is a error either in the description or the measurement.
Sizing doesn't really seem right especially shoulders and back length. Based on the size chart I'd be a large or possibly an x-large but with out clear shoulder measurements it's hard to say. I wonder does anyone on the forum actually own one of the original jackets so we get some insight on fit?
Hi, has there been an id on the tie bar from NTTD and cufflinks thanks
Cocktail cuffs!
Duh of course thanks well I’ve got a couple of Mr Fish cocktail cuff shirts from Mason & Sons.
Now I just need the tie bar I’ve got a nice Mont Blanc one but haven’t worn it for years.

If the tie bar turns out to be Tom Ford, be prepared to pay the big $$$$.

I've asked Max for a clarification on sizing.
I'd guess I'd take a large. It'd still be a loose fit, but it is a linen blouson. I'd probably need the arm length of the large.

Nah nobody has a original here that I know of and unlikely - ultra rare and tiny amount produced.
The London store is tiny, very boutique and more a classic British heritage type leather goods shop then clothes. Very small selection of clothes when I visited.
Westward queried first measurement so will see what comes back from them.
I am due to receive two sizes of the jacket fr a full review but we are still "discussing" the timing of those samples. Hopefully that will help as I know there has been significant confusion on sizing and details.
Comparing it with the Mango jacket I have, just as a rough guide/comparison, I think that the back measurement isn't shoulder to shoulder, but the back length, from collar to waist/hem. My Medium Mango measures 64cm, and the chest is 57cm. Sleeve length is 64cm, but the sleeves are overly long on the Mango, in my opinion.

Yeah had a feeling that would probably be back length measurement.
And I think that's the first time ever that anyone has said that the sleeves are overly long on the mango. It sounds like a WWII spy conversation starter...

First measurement surely not shoulder to shoulder. Seems huge that measurement.

I know the fit of this blouson doesn’t compare to a conventional jacket but I am more confused than I was before.
