Connery Style Holster

Some of you might be aware of the fact that I had a holster maker make a custom
Connery style shoulder holster. It is royal blue with the leather chamois part that holds the gun. I've gotten a few requests about making them based on my pattern. There are two small corrections that need to be made to my pattern to make it more screen accurate, but they are easily made. Basically, I want to get a sense of how many people are interested in this item before I put my money into it. I should think they would go for between $125.00 and $150.00 depending on the cost of materials. Let me know who wants one, and I'll consider it.

So, what sharp little eyes you've got...wait till you get to my teeth.

Hi DG,
This must be the split leather that we emailed about that's lighter in color than your first holster.
You'll be the best judge to finalize the details of the end results. But since it's the Goldfinger movie version that's being made, Fleming's description doesn't factor in as much, only to the extent of getting to the same place where the original prop maker adapted Fleming's description.
Thanks again for taking on this project!
You are quite right, I said Fleming because the filmakers used what he put on paper and adapted it. The holster will be as screen accurate to the Goldfinger version as I can get it. As an aside, if you look at Thunderball after Bond beds down Fiona Volpe, you get a glimpse of the holster when the baddies take his gun. The holster is similar, but the right arm strap looks brown as though it were leather. In OHMSS the holster becomes all black leather, but of similar construction but wihtout the right shoulder stitching. In Diamonds, it's back to the familiar blue, although different.

For the others that have inquired, the holster is only for the Walther PPK at this time, sorry.
Scaramanga1, I'll send pictures of the holster this evening, when I get home. Sorry for the delay.
Thank you all for your continued interest.

It is very crisply sewn and solidly constructed, and "polished" in quality that would surpass a mass produced specimen, if these existed. Now my reproduction, non-firing metal PPK has a home; I plan on putting up a solitary peg on the wall just for the holster.
I first stumbled onto AJB last year in hopes of finding a Connery holster replica (I even remember doing a "no-no" by posting the same inquiry in both the General and Memorabilia forums). I'm sure that some of you are saying, "Now that you got your holster, get out and don't come back!" ) ) ) ) ) ) Too bad, I'm staying!
Thanks DG for taking on this intrepid project; it was very generous of you!
Thanks for the kind words on the holster. It was not an easy project. You were the first to express an interest, so you got the very first holster.
