Mrs. Dalloway, I'm no gentleman, heck, I'm not even of voting age!, but what was so good about Hardy's comeback?
We older members have had the benefit of a little more time to read than some of you youngsters, and since we have invested the time we occasionally feel it's only right that others should be aware of just how well read we are. It's pure showing off and one-upmanship, but all good-natured fun.
As you might know, Virginia Woolf wrote a book entitled Mrs Dalloway (no relation). She also wrote a book entitled A Room of One's Own (hence the HardyBoy crack).
Mrs Dalloway's childhood sweetheart was named Peter Walsh (see Dr Shatterhand's comment). Walsh had a habit of constantly playing with his pocket knife.

Well I seem to be the oldest male here, with a mind of a 28 year old but a body that is 52 at the end of the month. I'm also balding and greying. Been watching 007 since I was about 12, so have seen them all on the big screen, which is really the only place to see them.

Be of good cheer,Mark--I'm older than you by one year.I still have all my hair,however,but my beard is quite grey which is why I'm usually clean-shaven.Like you,I lived through Bondmania and have seen all of the 20 James Bond films,from Dr.No to Die Another Day as they were originally released in movie theatres.And you're right,they all look their best on the big screen.
It's nice to know there's another dinosaur here.;)But remember,we're not old--we're seasoned veterans of the series.
