i think that is because of the way the gunbarrel effect is overlapping his face and not hi hand, i do see how someone might think that it looks a bit strange, thats for pointing that out all the same.
Hey, just a tip for making a fan poster. Instead of finding a body with a gun and superimposing DC's head on it, try searching for pictures of him in L4yer Cake where he wielded a gun more than once. My poster will be coming soon! Great art so far!

i agree actually, but i thought of that tand decided to see how i could make it look, i think i pulled it off, but thats not for me to judge, thanks for the pointers dude!

This is my idea for a teaser poster:
Black background. A naked hand coming from the side with a clenced fist. The word SPY is cut into the hand (just like in the novel, but there is no reason to use the russian letter now). The cuts should look fresh, perhaps with a trickle of blood running down. The only text should be the 007/pistol, the title CASINO ROYALE above the hand and the words BACK TO BASICS under the hand.
The hand is an obvious referance to one of the two most important scenes in the movie, a bit like the gold-painted lady on the Goldfinger posters. It also gives the message that Bond is a spy again, but also it says CR is more brutal and realistic. I would be very thankfull if someone made this poster on this thread.

First, might I add. Scottmu... way too much time on your hands. But very impressive! Having said that, I too have too much free time, and I made a better poster. I had an idea of a classified dossier-type thing with all of the info about the film on it. I actually ended up using an actual folder I found sitting around, and I took a picture. I think it looks pretty good. Much better than that last piece of junk I made. That looked like a collage. That poster will be up in a little bit.
Just to clear the record, when I said "better poster", I meant better than my OWN poster. Sorry Scottmu... You still reign supreme for fan art, but check this one out.

Here's my latest work on Casino Royale - thankfully some offical pictures to use at last.

First I would like to thank Scottmu65 for making a poster based on my "fist with cuts"-idea.
It feels great to see my idea on the computer screen!
I also liked the "dozzier" poster idea. But i think it can be improved: The deck of cards looks wrong, perhaps use a picture of or from the casino in stead. You can also use more pictures of the cast, pictures of Vesper and Le Chiffre would be good. some documents sticking out of the envolope would make it more "dozzier-like".
a receipt for the sum Bond gambles with (signed by bond, Vesper and perhaps M) would be in a CR dozzier. I also think the picture of Bond's cut hand from the poster Scottmu65 made would be cool!
What do you think?
This next addition to my little collection is a simple teaser poster, i decided to also use the "word spy carved into bonds hand" idea as i did with my last poster.
This one is not great but i think it does the job!
