Coincidentally, I posted an hour or so ago that I like many of the names that Fleming used for his characters. Wint and Kidd were two examples. It's kind of like one example really.
Fortunately, my wife and I were safe in Tokyo, as were our families. Thank you for your very kind concern.
Tell you one little true story.
A friend of mine runs a pub in Tokyo. She is originally from the disaster area. Her parents and cousins still live there. Fortunately none of her family were hurt.
She showed me a photograph of her parents back garden. Beautiful back garden. Looked like a flower show. Her father's full time hobby and his pride and joy.
She said "There is nothing left now except for the three cars and a boat that landed in it."
Her families count themselves amoung the lucky ones.

A dozen spam postings by a "Bot"--this one selling Nikes--that requires me to delete each and every post from every forum and to ban the so-called user. . .all the while knowing more "Bots" will be sent out, some selling DVDs, some advertising escort services. . . A moderator's work is never done!

That's why we love our Mods. They're here to protect us from those nasty bots. And some of us, when we see the bots will alert the mods. The Mods sweep in and use swift and blinding bannings. I think we all owe our Mods a few beers, or the drink of their choice.
