Where did you get that mini-standee of FRWL Connery holding a gun? Thanks for sharing!
I don't know where Tosh Togo got his from - some nice stuff there, BTW - but those standees were fairly common in the UK a couple of years ago. You can probably still get them - I bought mine from the Bond Exhibition that toured back then.
Here's my shrine. I opened a 007 themed bar in my basement. it took 2 years from start with bare concrete walls to finished out and partied in.....click the view slideshow button
Hard to come by? Why, because the James Bond stores close too early? You have a lot of stuff there that I haven't seen before. Where did you get that mini-standee of FRWL Connery holding a gun? Thanks for sharing!
I got that standee about 7 yrs ago at a shop in Soho called Vinmag. 007 stuff is hard to come by because South Africa doesnt exactly have stores that specialise in film memorabilia. Most of the record LP's/Novels have been found looking through charity shops. The 007 vehicles i got when i was visiting the UK

Thanks for confirming, Tosh and Sir Miles. Seems like they're nowhere to be found at the present, so I might consider having my 8x10 glossy of that photo mounted on a clear acrylic sheet with the figure's outline laser cut; the portrait studio at my mall creates these "photo sculpture" standees for $40 or less.
"...the purposeful slant of his striding figure looked dangerous, as if he was making quickly for something bad that was happening further down the street." -SMERSH on 007 dossier photo, Ch. 6 FRWL.....

You got a brilliant collection there, I'm sure many people would be envious. Ebay is always a good place to pick stuff up.
The only things ive bough off ebay has been a gilbert oddjob mini figure, and the the bond secret agent game, i would defintely like to buy more, the problem is, RSA has a poor exchange rate so things are really expensive if you convert to $ or pound. Plus our postal service is crap, so things go missing
Nice collection !!!! I wouldnt mind a few autographed pics, but i would imagine there are plenty fakes out there.
My dad met roger moore in ghana about 3yrs back, but he only had his picture taken with him and didnt ask RM for an autograph ( My dad said RM was a very nice and gracious man )
I have a bunch of autographed pictures. What I did was I took some pictures of my collection, made many copies of them and sent them to the various actors/actresses, with a selfaddressed stamped enveloppe and a request for an autographed picture. I must have mistated some, because a few autographed my collection and sent it back. I meant for them to have that!
Hello all if anyone from the forum ever comes to South Africa for a visit, I have some bond stuff to swop ( Posters, records, and if you have the space , standees
Its the dvd standee for DAD, i have 3 spare, its about 4 to 5 foot tall, ill post a pic soon, im just waiting to get a Heineken 007 standee and ill post a pic of all of them
Hi guys!
I really enjoy following the discussions here at ajb007! I´ve been mostly collecting toys from movies, but i have some props too. I just uploaded some pictures of my stuff on a site, let´s hope it works. http://s152.photobucket.com/albums/s186/kasuuu/
Keep the good discussions going on! Greetings from Finland.
Thanks s96024! I´ve been collecting movie toys for some 12 years now. I like everything from the 60´s and 70´s and early 80´s, so the Moore movies are my favorites. I collect a lot of retro-things like old game & watch-games and other retro-stuff too. An other big obsession is old electric guitars...(but that´s a topic for an other forum). Anyway Bond movies are a big passion of mine and that´s why i like visiting this forum. I just love the whole brand: 007!

You certainly have a vast array of stuff there - a great collection that must have cost quite a bit.
Thanks for allowing us a look at all that great stuff - and welcome
I have just started to upload my collection onto a purpose built website I designed. Have a look and let me know what you think. Some of the pages don't have items on yet but hopefully they will within the next week or so.
Just wanted to say I've added a couple of new props to my collection website.
This is a Yokohama Tyre with 9 Original tyre spikes from the Ice Palace scene, used on the Aston. the tyre is not original but the exact same ones they used on the car.
Not finished completely as my Carpenter is making a Wooden podest for it to be mounted on, but thought I'd show the result up to now...
Heres a nice test screen from Carvers Media center, it was a background screen, I've mounted it on a Backlit Light module.
These are Original Prop cards and Casino chips from Casino Royale, not to be mistaken for the Replica ones that you can get, I obtained them from a very trustworthy prop dealer!
Hope the links work, first time i've uploaded pictures...
If not then go to my website at www.distin.de
and go to the prop section and they're all in there.
Go Have a look :-)

Nice one Kees. Who do you have and who is your favourite?
Thanks. It's most of them, I still need to frame a few others I have sitting in a drawer. Running out of space to display them though
