Umm... so, does my poll get the green light. All right, all right remove the NSNA theme song, but please don't, if you must but I might shed a tear afterwards... :'(

Sico, after JFF's poll, is it possible for the poll after that to be about people's favourite decades for films (50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, 00's)?

Ooh I've got a good one!

Favourite Q workshop gadget. As in the gadgets which Bond is shown by Q in his workshop, but that he doesn't actually get to take with him...

    Par example (that's French):
    Bagpipe machine gun / flamethrower

Full leg cast with missile inside

    Zooming Tea Tray of Death!

    Seat with spike in it.

Do you see what I'm getting at?

It'll have to wait after mine (and Dan's) but I like what you're getting at, if only you'd elaborate a bit more.

Keep NSNA in actually, sorry for flip-flopping but take out Patti LaBelle's thing.

Patti LaBelle's song is brilliant -- probably one of the strongest end credits songs of the series! Much better than the trashy NSNA theme, poorly written and performed! I mean come on, there's a saxophone in it! They haven't been seen in the charts for years!

What is it about the NSNA theme that attracts me to it? I just like the rhythm and in the end credits that trumpet solo is the best! I even used that version in the end credits of a home movie I made.

    How about a new poll:
    007's best dual identity/cover?
    Peter Franks - DAF
    Sir Hilary Bray - OHMSS
    Robert Sterling - TSWLM
    Mr Van Bierk - DAD

I have added a new poll with regards to the Casino Royale trailer which is due out tonight / tomorrow.

JFF I will add your poll next (with in the week. It's in the system I just need to activate it.

Asio I like that idea and will add that next.

Si, I know you have a lot on your plate, and I don't want to place any more pressure on you ;), but I thought that after you add JFF's poll you were going to add my poll. (Favourite decade.)

Just to dump more stress on SiCo, is it possible to do polls where you can vote for first and second or even third?

In many polls you just know who the top one is gonna be, it's the second votes that can pick up more interesting stuff...

    How would that work?

You'd have to vote all in one, I can't quite envisage it at the moment, it seems quite complex to keep track of all the data? (Who's voting for what etc etc).

  • JennyFlexFanJennyFlexFan Posts: 1,497MI6 Agent
Well, the results of the poll were AVTAK winning, then TLD, then FYEO... right? Can Si give us the details?

Well in a few weeks we could have a poll on the new James Bond film. Like a thumbs up or down, with 5 choices: How do you rate it? a) 10-20 per cent b) 20-40 per cent c) 40-60 etc It would offer a very brief snapshot of fans' opinions.

That way you get a block graph.

However, only have a poll two-three weeks after the release, as the dust settles.

    Or has this been mentioned.

It makes sense to have a CR poll. Instead of numbers, though, why not use the good ol' school grade system: A, B, C, D, F? Heck, we could even toss in an I for incomplete!

Back in my school days here in Australia, our school grading system went A, B, C, D and UG which stood for "Un Graded".
We could use that system for the Casino Royale poll.

Did you enjoy the film? UG!

Don't you need a "haven't seen it" answer, too?
  • Dan SameDan Same Victoria, AustraliaPosts: 6,054MI6 Agent
What about an answer for those who have decided to boycott the film? ;)

There should be an answer for people who are offended by the film, and then for those offended by people who are offended by the film, and then one for people who are offended by polls.

    Maybe.

    Maybe not.

    Up to you really.
