And if you're from outside the US, may you nevertheless have much to be thankful for.

Happy thanksgiving to everyone! I have to say that I enjoy Thanksgiving even though I can't stand my relatives. I think it is the atmosphere. :P

    Happy Thanksgiving!

And yes some relatives can put a damper on the holidays. ;)

I beg your pardon. And the same to you. :D

I don't believe Alex worded his original post correctly. What he should have said is that all of us in the USA have much to be thankful for to all of you from Great Britain, and I mean GREAT

Where would you lot be without us Brits?...... Don't answer that. :D

OK Hardy, it's about time you raised the Union Jack back to the top of the mast.

I mean if you're in a country that doesn't celebrate the holiday. Perhaps it sounded as though I implied a non American has nothing to be thankful for, but that wasn't the intent.

But you still have the right to get stuffed, MNL. :D

Don't worry, Alex. I know exactly what you mean't. I was just being my usual mischievous self.

Thanksgiving is great. It is basically Christmas without the stress. Now judging by whats going on outside my window, I'll be having a white Thanksgiving. Enjoy your turkey everyone, or whatever you chose to eat.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

And, for those in the UK...well, you can probably be thankful for the fact that we left your country all those years ago ;)

Yes, the climate does get old. We had our first real snow yesterday and I hate having to drive around on the roads. Some people say that the only way people die in my region is by cancer or a car wreck. Sad but true.

Anyway, I'm thankful regardless and I hope everyone else is too. Cheers!

The game is on as I write these words. If you're a Lions fan, then, trust me, you're better off at work!

Oh, and to all my non-American friends--Happy Thursday!

That is the story of September-December in these parts, though, innit?
Hope you all had a good one in the States - I thought of you!

Pretty much the story in the places I've lived as well--in the Phoenix area (Cardinals? Please!) and in southeastern Louisiana, home (for now) of the infamous New Orleans Saints. I've heard the smell of victory is sweet, but I have no first-hand experience of this phenomenon!

Why not celebrate by going out and seeing the new Bond film (again) at the cinema? :D

Hmmm, this topic was actually started a year ago. I haven't had my Thanksgiving dinner yet, so isn't it a bit early for leftovers?

Anyway, happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Yanks; and a good Thursday to everyone else!
