And if you're from outside the US, may you nevertheless have much to be thankful for.

And yes some relatives can put a damper on the holidays.

GET STUFFED!
:007)
I beg your pardon. And the same to you.
I don't believe Alex worded his original post correctly. What he should have said is that all of us in the USA have much to be thankful for to all of you from Great Britain, and I mean GREAT
Where would you lot be without us Brits?...... Don't answer that.
OK Hardy, it's about time you raised the Union Jack back to the top of the mast.
But you still have the right to get stuffed, MNL.
Don't worry, Alex. I know exactly what you mean't. I was just being my usual mischievous self.
And the same to you, Alex.
And for those not celebrating this day, the sentiment is no different towards you.
God bless.

And, for those in the UK...well, you can probably be thankful for the fact that we left your country all those years ago
Happy Thanksgiving!
I leave you with a quote from The Phantom of the Opera
"Have you forgotten your angel of music?"
No, Erik, no I haven't...;)

Heh. I usually feel like that guy when its the middle of January and I'm still shoveling. Thats why I try to enjoy the first couple snows because after a while, I cant take it.
Yes, the climate does get old. We had our first real snow yesterday and I hate having to drive around on the roads. Some people say that the only way people die in my region is by cancer or a car wreck. Sad but true.
Anyway, I'm thankful regardless and I hope everyone else is too. Cheers!

Wish I had the day off to watch the Lions...........
The game is on as I write these words. If you're a Lions fan, then, trust me, you're better off at work!
Oh, and to all my non-American friends--Happy Thursday!
That is the story of September-December in these parts, though, innit?
Hope you all had a good one in the States - I thought of you!
Pretty much the story in the places I've lived as well--in the Phoenix area (Cardinals? Please!) and in southeastern Louisiana, home (for now) of the infamous New Orleans Saints. I've heard the smell of victory is sweet, but I have no first-hand experience of this phenomenon!
Why not celebrate by going out and seeing the new Bond film (again) at the cinema?
Cheers, all {[]

Everyone must be experiencing the tryptophan nap right about now, so enjoy that too!
