This year, instead of turkey, my family will be feasting on something my mother referred to as 'turducken'. Apparently, it is turkey, chicken, and duck combined. ?:) I have no clue what to expect.
Turducken is a Cajun creation--leave it up to dem Cajuns to mash every kind of food imaginable together and call it one dish!
I'm spending my Thanksgiving with friends. May all of you be similarly blessed!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I did, as I FINALLY made myself a Vesper, and it tasted quite good. Everyone who tried it liked it, so it was a success!
Yes, I had a great Thankgiving. Especially since three of my family's closest friends came over to visit. Too bad my oldest brother and his girlfriend couldn't come over from outta town, though . Oh well, it was still great feast.

A belated Happy Thanksgiving to all in the US. I must try and spend at least one Thanksgiving in the US one day. I had Thanksgiving dinner with some American friends of mine in London. We had all the traditional Thanksgiving dishes. I must say, the Americans know how to do pies much better than us British!
Another belated Happy Thanksgiving to all. My wife and I celebrated it down here in New Zealand for the first time. It was hard to find all the ingredients and plus it was my wife's first full thanksgiving, so it was a challenge. My wife managed though, changed recipes and made two pies (pumpkin and pecan) from scratch, I am blessed. We had four other Americans over (two by way of South Australia) and they all enjoyed it as well.
