I hate to be a party pooper, but if you account for all the inactive members (many with 0 posts) and one-time visiting members, we are actually pretty far from 5000. I don't think this site has to be judged on the amount of members it recruits. This forum is still the best and is home to some of the world's most knowledgable Bond fanatics! {[]

To tell you the truth, I don't mind not having a huge amount of frequents, because I get to know all of you guys, the regular posters, much better. It is like a home, this website.

Could you imagine 5000 people posting constantly?! I'd never be able to keep up with what's going on. But I have to say...the cream has certainly floated to the top. Thanks everybody for being a great bunch!

Yes, I'll add my names to those who have so far paid tribute to AJB as it reaches 5000 members. It is a well deserved milestone, and in that 5000 we have found some great people!

We had 3000 in May 2004. 4000 in April 2005. So we're quite dinamic... Though I bet certain events (Craig casting) had something to with a quick rise around that time, but hey, 5000 IS 5000.

Yes, we are now in the league of excellence, with the help of the wonderful people like Moonraker 5, and the sensible WIllie Garvin, Hardyboy for shutting down our threads and keeping the costs down, and to Bill Tanner, for his vast Bondian threads knowledge, and to M.

However, I wasw looking at our members, and most of them have not posted in forever, or have posted once and never came back. Shouldn't we dlete those names, or contact those members, because it is and is not 5000?

Before I ruin the mood, you know what CHEERS {[]!!!!

I must say - though I may not look like an "active" posting member - come here a few times per day and read whats going on, its quite interesting and fun. Where else can I get my Bond fill without watching a movie or reading a book? This place is wonderful. {[] {[] {[]
