Alright, I just found this thing called MLG which stands for Major League Gaming...it is like a sport except people play video games. A few guys just got 250K each. My only problem wiht this is the fact that they only play Halo 2and Super Smash Bro. Melee. No PS2 games in sight.
Edit: Night I hope Merc 2 comes out for 360 cause that is the onlyway I have a chance to get it. And even that is just a rumour...
Oh, and by the way, RA, you missed out. Tony and I played some Doom 3 co-op and it was pretty fun.
Yeah, I got on as soon as you guys were signing out. I saw you both and couldn't get the darn disc in fast enough...around 8:30 right?

Yup, we called it quits around 8:30 (right after an Imp flamed us both to Hell). Doom 3 co-op was a lot of fun and it ran smooth for most of the session. The gameplay was a tad glitchy though; both Night and I got bounced from our game on a couple of occasions. Still, it was cool; first time playing co-op for me. I really wish more games would include an online co-op feature as it was a lot more fun for me than deathmatching.

Well, I would love to see your source as I am part of the discussion that goes on at the website and the staff has said repetedly that the game has been announced for PS3, but they are npt ruling out the Xbox 360 or for that matter the PC was even mentioned as a candidate. I wouldn't be 100% sure of anything surrounding that game...

I just read in Game Informer's loose talk that we should expect announcements about Mercs 2 and Assassins Creed for the 360.
I have a sister who lives in suburban Boston; that's cheaper than Manhattan...but I'm afraid I may get beat down there wearing my Yankees cap. )

BTW Night, I bought Full Auto today. I was looking for something new and it was on sale for $40. I had a $30 credit so it cost me about $10. At that price I decided to take the plunge. Not the greatest game ever but I'm having fun with it.

Remember also that given the ever increasing costs of developing these games, it's in the developer's interest to release it on as many platforms as possible to maximize their returns. I seriously doubt a company like EA would want to fragment it's returns on a game by granting exclusivity to a console that looks to be prohibitively expensive (unless Sony really lined their pockets).
Any "exclusives" from 3rd party developers will most likely be for a few months before the game is released on other conosles (ala the Grand Theft Auto games).

I bet it'll be on 360, too. I mean, the first game had amazing sales on PS2, sure, but it had amazing sales on the Xbox as well.
I played Tomb Raider: Legend on the 360. It was loads of fun; I especially loved the Japan level and I loved exploring every nook of Croft Manor.
I need to go back to that one and finish unlocking all the costumes...
I really liked the Ghana Level. It was alot of fun and it was really cool how the waterfall opened up. Japan's final battle with Takamoto was really hard for me....

I for one HATED the single player campaign in this game. The objectives were often difficult to figure out and the dialog was beyond cheese. The inability to have your character jump was also absurd. I pulled the plug and sold it back about halfway thru the fourth or fifth level.

G4 has really gotten lame lately; their primetime schedule consists entirely of reruns of Star Trek: The Next Generation (which sadly doesn't hold up to repeated viewings) and The Man Show (truly a symbol of the decline of Western Civilization if ever there was one; they'll make stars out of anybody).
I used to enjoy all the videogame themed shows; too bad most of them have been canned. Attack of the Show can be fun but that's about it for me these days.

It went platinum on Xbox and it is now a Greatest Hit for PS2. I get the feeling it will be released on the 360.
