Anything but THAT, that is. And Cheat. Kristin Holt is the most annoying person EVER.
G4 has really gotten lame lately; their primetime schedule consists entirely of reruns of Star Trek: The Next Generation (which sadly doesn't hold up to repeated viewings) and The Man Show (truly a symbol of the decline of Western Civilization if ever there was one; they'll make stars out of anybody).
I used to enjoy all the videogame themed shows; too bad most of them have been canned. Attack of the Show can be fun but that's about it for me these days.
Well, maybe you'll enjoy my show. Hey Rogue if I remember, I'll make a video on the form of a TV show when I get back from costa Rica...
I actually think that that show would make money. I mean some idiots don't know how to work their own computer...gimme a break. I think people would watch a videogame strategy show. The only downside is is I would be the John Baisdow of geeks.

I think Attack of the Show is a great show, and X-Play is fantastic as well. The rest I agree about.
I used to like X-Play but then every time I'd tune in it seemed half the show was devoted to skits that weren't particularly funny. Morgan Webb is very attractive, but a comedienne she is not. And Sessler desperately needs some Prozac (or a lobotomy).
Stick to the games I say. And give Morgan a makeover and a two piece bikini.
Why do I get the feeling that this game is slightly influenced by The Punisher game when it comes to persuasion?
Did you play The Punisher? If yes, how was it? It's now on the Backward Compatibility (BC) list for the 360 and I'm thinking of picking it up.
BTW, I picked up the Xbox version of Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory to try on the 360. I haven't tried multiplayer yet, but as to the single player game: WOW! It's sharper, in high res, loads faster, and smooth as buttah! I can even see better in the dark and don't have to use nightvision all the time.
I also picked up X-Men Legends as it is also BC but I haven't tried that one yet.
I'm telling you, once you get your 360 your old games that are BC will look brand new (well, almost anyway).

I still own my copy from 2 years ago and I'm pleased with it. If you're comfortable with spattering goons with conviction with an array of weapons in pure comic Punisher fashion, get it.
Mind you, it's linear. You'll be sticking to your objectives, which is killing and punking enemies to the brink of death for intelligence, but you do have face-offs with notable baddies such as Jigsaw, Bullseye & the Russian.
You can really go either way with investing in this game; it just happened to rub me the right way. Thomas Jane did voice it if that sways your decision a little more...

Thanks for the info on The Punisher. By the way, it turns out X-Men Legends is not BC (at least not yet). I could have sworn it was on the list when I bought it; don't know if Microsoft removed it or if I was hallucinating.

I just bought Battlefield 2 for the 360 and I'm having a blast with it. It's harder to kill someone than it should be, but oh well, I'll just have to get better.
Interestin, this is another puzzle in the grand battle and eternal struggle of "WILL MERCENARIES RELEASE FOR THE 360".
I think one of the issues with Mercenaries 2 is that Pandemic still has not signed a publisher for the game. And, given the royalties Pandemic is probably going to demand, I'm sure any prospective publishers would want the game on as many platforms as possible to maximize their return.

Last night, before Entourage aired, HBO showed an inside look to The Sopranos videogame! It looks good.
It appears they've brought back old characters from the show on this project. But the coup for me was getting James Gandolfini to voice it; otherwise it isn't worth the time.
I really hope that this game does not suck...but my overzealousness will probably be my undoing... ;%

Microsoft just released a new Style Pack of cars for Project Gotham Racing 3. While there is no Lotus 7, there is a car that comes somewhat close, the Vanwall GPR V12. It's an open cockpit single seater and is hellava fun to drive. Have a look:

I downloaded the whole Style Pack. In retrospect, I probably should have only gone for a few cars.
And FYI Night, if you've filled up all your garages, you'll need to sell some of your cars to make room for the new ones. Hopefully, Bizarre will release a patch giving us some new garages for the new cars at some point.

Thought you might like that one; even the shade of green is pretty close. Once you buy the console and the game, you'll have to download the car from the marketplace; the price is 60 Microsoft points which translates to about 50 cents, not bad for a vintage roadster.

Yeah time is dwindling down for me seeing that I'm supposed to get geared up sometime this football season with my 360.
It looks like the hi-def tv set is going to have to wait a little longer....
Unless my wife does something stupid like overusing out credit cards? A good defense!
Yeah, yeah, wishful thinking. ;%

Hang in there. Prices for hi-def TV's, especially plasmas, have been really coming down. I'm sure by Christmas 40" sets will be hovering around $1000. That's the magic number that will get more people to take the plunge.

I bought the whole style pack as well, although there really is no reason for me to have bought anything except the Ferraris which I like and the Z8. The Z8, by the way, drives like a dream. But for some reason they decided to have the roof up. I don't mind it, I wish it came down though. I liked it in PGR1 when convertible cars put their hoods up when you played in the rain. I wish there was rain in PGR3...
PGR1 is still my fave...

That's the problem...I already have working 5 sets in the home now, all working perfectly.
Hell, one's still brand new in the box and never been opened. I almost want to put a brick through the bedroom set just to shift the ranks! )
Thankfully, I don't take advantage of what's been bestowed on me.
Not too keen on plasma screens and the indelible marks that games leave on them after a period of time. High def -for me.

Yeah, I had the same problem. I had a 36" Sony Trinitron; that thing must have weighed 350 lbs. Luckily I found a buyer so that I could make room for my plasma.

Actually, I have a plasma; all the stories about burn in are blown way out of proportion. The newer models have all kinds of technology like pixel shifting to prevent burn in. Also, the viewing angle on plasmas is unbeatable and the constrast ratio (black to white) rivals tube TV's.
Still, if you don't have a comfort level, there are some nice affordable LCD's out there; I'm sure they'll be even more attractively priced come the holidays.

Yeah, or they could have included two models in the pack: roof up and roof down. I haven't tried the Z8 yet; I was messing around with the Vanwall. That one can really take a corner.

Burn-in was definitely a problem with older models. I've had mine for almost 2 years and no burn-in at all. Still, if it worries you then LCD is definitely the way to go. I have a 26" Samsung LCD and it puts out a very sharp and colorful picture.
The surround sound package is by Panasonic. It's an 800 watt system with 5.1, and a reciever with a gazillion inputs. It only cost $279 at Circuit City.

I remember spending about 500.00 for mine at Circuit City back in '99. Unlike yours, my woofer was built in. We do have the same exact stand though. It's only a couple of years old as the set that sets upon it. I had a trying time putting that together. )
