It must be nice living in Denial. Make sure to send me a postcard every now and then. :p ;)

Seriously though, I was a Target over the weekend and I had a 60GB PS3 in my hands. I came oh so close to taking it and a copy of Resistance: Fall of Man home with me but I decided to wait. I'm a junkie when it comes to shiny electronic toys and it's only a matter of time before I break down. But my gut tells me there will be a price drop by May; I don't have any evidence, just a feeling.
Since when was Bioshock announced for the PS3?

According to IGN, it is exclusive to 360 and PC; I've heard nothing about PS3 either.

I don't think you're right on this one, Tony. They're already losing so much on each console, and they don't think they can manufacture it any cheaper, at least for awhile.

You're not helping Night. I'm trying to come up with reasons not to get one. :) Now, let's try it again. There's a good chance the PS3 will go down in price, riiiiiight?

You could well be right though; but if sales continue to lag Sony will have to do something to make it a better value for the consumer; maybe throw in a game or uni-remote for BluRay.

Oh, you want reasons NOT to get one?

The lack of good games, the lack of good online service, the controller that is nowhere near as comfortable as the 360 controller, the high price, the fact that you already own the best console.
    :D How's that?

Very good Night, I think my PS3 lust is ebbing. But knowing my weakness for these things, I'll probably break down at some point (probably after a bad day at work) and then immediately feel buyers remorse after turning over the credit card.

But you can console yourself by playing MGS4.

By the way, the Crackdown demo was just released on XBL Marketplace. I'll let you know how it is once I've downloaded it, but it will take awhile. It is 1.25 GB!!!

That's reason enough for me not to buy a PS3; I HATE the MGS games.

Shouldn't you be at school or something young man? :)) I'll probably DL it tonight myself. BTW, some copies of the Crackdown game will come with the Halo 3 Beta Test key. I know 0064 would love to get his hands on that. :v

I'm home sick. So I'm taking advantage of my 360. :D

Well...I've been working up the nerve to continue playing CONDEMNED for the last couple of days. Heavy schedule notwithstanding, I'm starting to feel the creep element in this game; it's still claustophobic. ;%

Getting used to taking scans and pics are a little hard to remember and no one said that I had to collect dead birds.

The thing that I didn't want to do was split up with the bald guy I started with; I get jumped by some thug who takes my gun so now I have to be resourceful...ugh.

It's very creepy and I was punked out when I thought I saw someone run past me from the corner of my vision...I cut it off immediately :D .

I think we've been down this road before. Let's just say I'm not impressed with Kojima's storytelling skills.
I'm home sick. So I'm taking advantage of my 360. :D

You're home sick; I'm just homesick :D Hope you feel better real quick.

And I just want to publicly state what a heel I am for forgetting to wish RogueAgent a happy birthday a couple of days back. My sincerest apologies.

Thanks, man. After the great party my wife threw for me, I had forgotten my birthday after about oh...5 Gibsons? :D

So I'm guessing that you like it then? :D Hearing you talk about Condemned is giving me the itch to buy it and play it thru again.

The game is pretty heavily scripted; losing your gun was part of the storyline. You get some firearms later, not that they do much good ...

The dead birds (and special reports) are strictly optional; if you find all of them you get some achievement points. They don't affect the outcome in any way.

Glad to hear you're enjoying your 360. Now once you get some spare time, we'll have to team up online and beat the crap out of Nightshooter in Halo 2. And congratulation for beating 0064 to the finish line in the "who will get a 360 first" competition.

Yeah. After I finished it, I was so creeped out by it that I really didn't want to have it around the house anymore (I'm not making this up) so I traded it in for some store credit. I quickly regretted doing it. Now that its price has gone down I may get it again.

One thing I never do is get rid of my horror, Bond games and superhero titles-well I did toss Aquaman pretty fast after I had nagged stores for weeks as to when it was coming out; that game was simply awful. :#

If the horror game is scary enough for me to cut off the console apruptly, then it's worth my money. I still have yet to finish Silent Hill 2 &4 and Fatal Frame 1&2 because of their excellent creep factors. Pathetic thing is that I bought these games when they first came out. ;%

The corpes in CONDEMNED leave an indellible mark on your psyche - remember the first woman you need to download info for? What a creepy-looking site.

There was some guy I chased around the corner, with nil-light mind you, and I think he went up a ladder. I have yet to follow him. :D

Given what new games cost, trading in completed games can sometimes be an easy outlet for some quick cash but I've started keeping more 360 and Xbox games recently.

The corpses are all creepy, it gets worse as the game goes all. Just wait until you reach the department store ... the music in that level really freaked me out.

I won't give anything away, but if it's the one I'm thinking of, the guy you're chasing is the one who stole your gun; he plays a major role in the game and keeps popping up.

One more thing: practice your melee and blocking skills and get your timing down perfectly; it's critical to surviving the game, especially in the later levels.

Oh don't worry, I'm worse; I haven't played Halo 2 in at least 6 months. I'll have to fire it up again to see just how bad I've gotten.

Neither have I, but I'll be able to pick it up.

I just played the Crackdown demo. It is pretty fun, but it seems like it could get repetitive quite quickly.

Man, you're really rubbing it in, aren't you? :)) Honestly I'm much better on the Rainbow Six games Live so I can't wait to pick up Vegas for the 360. ;)

My old account has been cancelled because I was awaiting to get the whole pack thingy with the free Live but since I only have the core system, I'll be looking for a new moniker.

Soon as I get time and that new gamertag I'll send the info to you and Tony. ;)

Do yourself a favor and buy a Hard Drive.

My wife didn't know. She just got me what I wanted minus the red tape and I thank her for it. She has nothing to be ashamed of.

I'm sure you were but if it isn't name brand shoes or designer purses, you can't expect a woman to really care about the intricate goings-on of a game system... It's pretty trivial to her. :))

What are we talking price-wise? ?:)
