Hey Rogue, whatever happened to your old Xbox gamertag? Just as an FYI, you can change your gamertag with Xbox Live even after you select and use one; you're not stuck with the same name forever like in the original Xbox days.
Here's a few I came up with; maybe they'll jog some ideas:
I just played the Crackdown demo. It is pretty fun, but it seems like it could get repetitive quite quickly.
I messed around with the Crackdown demo today; still not sure whether I like it or not. I agree that it could easily get very repetitive. I've never been wild about these sandbox games like GTA and Saints Row; I can never remember where everything is and I can never keep all the control schemes straight in my head.
Except for the Hard Drive thing. Get one, seriously.
I'm sure you were but if it isn't name brand shoes or designer purses, you can't expect a woman to really care about the intricate goings-on of a game system... It's pretty trivial to her. )
What are we talking price-wise? ?:)
I'd also STRONGLY urge you to get a hard drive ASAP. You need it to be able to play your original Xbox games on the 360 and download the occasional demo, video or Xbox Live Arcade game.
As to the price of the hard disk, think of it this way: a 64 megabyte memory card costs around $40; a 20 gigabtype hard drive (which holds over 300 times as much info) sells for $100. Now, which is the better deal?

Anyone in Europe looking to get a PS3 is in luck. It is shipping in March. Only the 60GB version, and a million units. Price? You thought it would be $600, didn't you? Haha, no, silly goose. It is $840. Because Sony hates people. And eats children. For breakfast.

I love sandbox games as long as they can offer some awesome exploration and gameplay. In this game, everything looked the same, but hopefully it has different districts and we only saw one of them.
Diagree about the online...agree about the games both past and future...it has a nice list...

How can you disagree about online? The games I could see a disagreement about, but Xbox Live is heralded as the greatest online service there is. Nobody thinks the PS3's online is even close.
Congrats on the PS3 0064, I hope you enjoy it as much as the rest of us are enjoying our 360's.
But I can tell the radiation from the machine is already melting your brain. The 360 had a ton of great games at launch: Quake IV, Project Gotham 3, Kameo, Condemned and more. As to online, it was never an important component for me but I have to go with Nightshooter; MS's online strategy is really well implemented and the interface is consistent from game to game. It's easy to find friends online and send voice and text messages while playing. And the layout of their online offerings is very easy to navigate. Sony has a lot of work to do before it comes close to MS's level of integration.
As for PS3 games, Resistance is very good, too bad just about everything else has been available on the 360 for months. Its also disturbing that Sony keeps delaying and pushing back the release dates for its games. Oblivion has been pushed back again, Rainbow Six: Vegas and GRAW 2 have no firm date on Ubisoft's schedule, Warhawk has a fuzzy "Summer 2007" date; Killzone 2 has an even fuzzier "Late 2007" date, Mercenaries 2 has fallen off the radar, etc., etc., etc.
But don't worry, with any luck Sony will release another good game before the end of the year, and then you'll have two whole games to play with.
Nothing like a good console wars post to get the juices going in the morning.

A note on Crackdown: The coolest part of the demo was driving out of the agency base. Driving through the batcave-esque tunnel was incredibly awesome.
Was watching a business show last night and they were discussing the gaming industry. The analysts stated that Nintendo has a hit on their hands with their new machine, the 360 has been a big success for Microsoft and the PS3 is in danger of being a flop.
One of the analysts predicted the Wii would outsell the 360 and PS3 combined. Since the 360 already has over 10 million out the door I would assume sales would be less than the just released Wii.

Soon as I can come up with a cool gamertag. Everything I've tried thus far someone else has taken. And I tried for 30 minutes... X-(
Any suggestions are welcome especially if Batman is involved. There's already a RogueAgent on Live. )
Batman: "The Hammer Of Justice is UNISEX!"

Have you gotten one yet? Okay, serious suggestions:
How about Shylock? Or Shylock007 if the former is taken?
I LOVE and wear the colonge religiously, Night. Never said I was a fan of how it was packaged. )
I'll try that when I get home as long as I'm not SHYLOCK 2200. I must be the only one with the tag.
Batman: "The Hammer Of Justice is UNISEX!"

I promise I will try, Night. I have a deadline on an important commision to finish up before Thursday though and I'm still at work.
You just want to emasculate me even further on the game anyway then come back and tell it. 8-) )

Good luck finding games that are any good.

And right now, XBOX 360 has a better current lineup and a better future lineup of games.
