The trailer is supposedly going to be put up on the official website - http://www.startrekmovie.com - and Apple's Quicktime site on Monday.
I'm sure there will also be a few YouTube bootlegs throughout the weekend though Paramount will probably try to squish those until the official release.
Needless to say, I saw the trailer today, and the movie is looking better and better. Pig that I am, I have to say I just loved the shot of Uhura changing her top. Set phasers on STUNNING!

Not seen the trailer (was not tagged to QofS in the Odeon) but have seen publicity snippets. Not sure. As a long term fan of Trek, not sure at all...
My Trek recomendations are Star Trek Hidden Frontier and Star Trek Intrepid. - Fan made series and they are pretty good too!

I think this Star Trek reboot has the potential to be a real winner...
I knew going into QoS that the Star Trek trailer would be attached. Preview, after preview I sat and waited (Adam Sandler here, Clive Owen over there, Keeanu Reeves sneaking up behind you X-( ). Then, finally, I saw it. I'm excited for this. I have a feeling that some die hard fans might not like all the CGI. *Sidenote. I really got excited when the theater I was in started to replay all the previews before QoS started. Sadly, they cut off before QoS started.

I've seen the trailer and to me it looks amazing. The cuts are very quick but if you single frame thru it there's actually quite a bit shown. The Enterprise looks incredible in motion and this looks to be the first real big-budget Star Trek adventure since Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
I'll be seeing QoS later today; hopefully I'll be able to see it on the big screen (it hasn't been shown at about 1 in 4 screenings).
For anyone who can't wait to see it on the big screen or until Monday when it is officially released online, there are some bootlegs floating around out there though they keep getting taken down quickly.
I think I know where you're going with this. It is the 11th Trek movie so technically it is one of the odd ones. Personally though, I've never bought into that theory that the even ones are good and the odd ones are bad. I thought ST:TMP and ST III:TSFS were good entries. Conversely, ST:Nemesis is generally considered to be one of the weakest Trek films made. And if you subscribe to the argument that the original pilot, The Cage, was the first movie made (as some argue), then it kind of throws the whole odd/even thing all out of whack as well. Now, I'm really starting to sound like a fanboy. :S
BTW, I saw the trailer in front of QoS today and thought it looked great. Very cinematic and the ships looked like they had real mass to them. Can't wait for Paramount to release the official trailer online in hi-def so that I can download it to me PS3 or 360 and see in on the big LCD TV.

I haven't checked out Hidden Frontier or Starship Intrepid yet, just a few of James Cawley's Phase II efforts, though I have heard very good things. I'll definitely check them out in the next few days.
Hated kid-Kirk. Started having flashbacks of Indy in the Webelos or Annie(Kin).
After seeing the trailer. Didn't like the guy playing Captain Kirk what-so-ever ...

I could have done without the juvenile Kirk in the Corvette scene. Unfortunately, the Batman Begins style of reboot where we see these characters as youngsters seems to be the norm these days. Likewise, I'm sure the filmmakers felt they needed to turn the young Kirk into a bit of a rebel without a cause to make it all more palatable to today's younger audiences who might view the original series as un-hip and even a bit stodgy.
It may not be the Star Trek I grew up with but based on what little we've been shown I still think it comes out ahead of the last few series and the TNG movies. I do like the look of the film (the clips do have a grand, epic scale to them), and I didn't think the few bits of dialog presented were bad.
The last few films and TV shows have shown that the diehard Trek fans cannot sustain this franchise on their own any more. The studio wants to attract a newer, younger audience so its only natural that they'll want to shake things up.
Completely, utterly and absolutely a tedious Star Trek link here, but what the hell is Mr Sulu doing on I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!?!?!?!? It's not exactly as if he needs the fame or fortune after Heroes, surely? (Though Martina Navratalova and Esther Rantzen are also strange additions to the usual mix of complete nobodies)
Anyway, needed to vent that somewhere as it's just started on TV. {:)

Poor George Takei...the PR buzz from his marriage must be wearing off.
I don't watch any reality TV---at all. I experience vicarious embarrassment far too easily to enjoy such things...and my gag reflex has a hair-trigger, so that leaves out Fear Factor
I thought the Trek trailer looked very enticing---a classic 'retro' feel with essential modern FX---and I'll be there on opening night.

As for Takei, it is sad to see him make such a spectacle of himself from venue to venue, whether its the drubbing he took on the Shatner roast, the endless pranks Howard Stern plays on him, or his incessant attacks on Shatner. So much for fading away gracefully. Oh myyyyyyyy!
There's a new version of the Star Trek trailer up. It's identical to the previous version except for one very interesting little addition. Here it is in a few different resolutions including a low res YouTube version; the new scene comes at the 1:48 mark and I think classic Trek fans will like it.

As for the actor playing Captain Kirk...don't know yet. I've never seen the guy's work, so he'll get the benefit of the doubt from me until I do. He looks okay, as far as I'm concerned...they were very fortunate to find a 'young Nimoy' lookalike---finding a 'young Shatner' must not have worked out.
Quick story. My brother (Another Loeffelholz) lives in Hollywood, and caught QoS on opening night at the ArcLight. Outside the cinema, an Aston Martin DBS was on display. After seeing the film, my brother lingered outside for a few minutes, ogling the Aston. He looked over, and the actor who plays Spock in the new movie was standing right next to him, along with a few of his friends, ogling the Aston in the same love-struck manner as my brother.

I'm six then. I watched Survivor a few years back, then said to heck with it. How are these shows "reality?" Like I'd ever end up stranded on an island, racing around the world, or (like in MTV's "Real World") living in a ritzy mansion in a cool city surrounded by hot college kids!
