Pierce is definately worth getting, an excellent sculpt. I found a 1/4 Sean today at a local toystore I stumbled upon down an alleyway that no one knows is there so it's on laybuy.
Don't know if I'll eventually finish the figure, though ?:)
I just wonder if the rights to Fleming's likeness is owned by his heirs, which may prevent an official figure being produced by Sideshow.

I don't know which bothers me more---the ascot (??) he seems to be wearing...or the same old unflattering 'swept-back' hair he wore...for one sequence...in LTK...
I know they're using the same head-sculpts, but...jeez 8-) I'm a Dalton fan, and they're yet to come close to doing him justice
Hopefully, when (if?) they do a Premium Format version of him, it will be as he looked during the concert scene in TLD...

That's what I though MBE, he looks like a vampire from a horror film. I was hoping to buy this, not now, after I've actually seen it! I don't like the way he looks or what he's wearing. I'll pass on this. I was hoping too for him to be wearing the suit he wore in the hotel room to confront Pushkin in TLD. Very disappointed. I'll wait for the Premimum edition, I'm going back a few pages to find out more info about them, as I've only been paying attention to the Legacy figures.

The Premium Format version of Roger Moore has been limited to 400 pieces (!). While I'm not exactly the hugest Moore Bond fan around, I confess to being quite surprised by this.
I want one of these, when I've scraped together enough coin, but Wow! are they going to be rare...

Whoever decided on that Dalton costume needs their contract terminating (and perhaps Drax could put his dogs to good use). A leather jacket would have looked really cool, whereas this is purely unmemorable.
I'm beginning to think this legacy line is rather a waste of time, Sideshow's idea of each actor's "iconic" look seems to differ from mine and no doubt many others'. There's only really Moore who's figure I'm pleased with, so I'll probably only pick that up.
Well, it seems Sideshow have chosen to put Tim in his LTK "best man" costume. Not THAt iconic, but still could do worse. But the head is one of the worst things I've seen from Sideshow, icluding the prototype Wai Lin, and that was like the ba$tard son of Marilyn Manson and a horse.

Hmm I disagree - I was never fond of the pictures I'd seen of the dalton sculpt, they looked too shiny and he looked older than a 90 year old Daniel Craig (although many would argue we can already see that). However, in the flesh, I think the sculpt is quite magnificent. Dalton's face is probably one of the most difficult, with a lack of perticularly distinct features, yet the realism is definitely impressive.
Just dropping the lipstick from his mouth would improve like 50 percent of my expectations. Why the rosy read lips? ?:)
Intriguing - not a hint of lipstick on my Dalton figure. Do you have the actual figure or are you judging from pictures? I'm not disputing you, just interested.

It has very bright red lips and too wide eyebrows if you ask me.

Really unfortunate choice of attire with the Dalton Legacy figure.
I hope they do a different sculpt (and hairstyle! X-( ) for the Premium Format, when (if?) they do one. If the PF Roger Moore only merited 400 pieces, Dalton might be limited to four dozen ?:)

I hope Roger will come in larger quantities. Sideshow has pulled similar advertizing in the past - early news of the diver Conery figure said that "Special Edition Connery Diver Figure" would be limited to 500 or so copies. And they were right, they just didn't say that there'll be thousands of non-special others - the difference between the normal and the special was a small underwater device which is about as big as a larger piece of rice. I remember I was very afraid I couldn't get a diver figure because there would be only 500 copies, but apparently there were more, only the number sticked in my mind.

But the Premium Format figures have no accessories, etc., as the 12" lines do. I, too, hope there will be more than 400 copies, but perhaps Sideshow determines the size of the production run by how much interest is initially shown, in the way of pre-orders, etc.

Dalton is up for pre-order. I'm still deciding whether or not to get it. On a nicer Sideshow note, my wait list came through and I'll be receiving my Sith Eyes comic con exclusive Anakin soon!
Many are complaining about the lack of Kilt, and I think it would have been nice to see that figure, but I think it'll be nice to have a Lazenby tux aswell - anything's better than that blue bin bag he was wearing before.

I also hope that Dan Craig is the next Legacy figure. They have PLENTY of pics of him in his tux from CR, and they could easily replicate his tux by taking the shirt from DAD Brosnan and the pants and jacket from LtK Dalton. Not that I am saying they should do this, but they could.

I'm trying hard to stay away from 12", as I woo my lovely and long-suffering wife into accepting the Premium Format figures into our living room, ;% but having a 12" Craig figure will raise the difficulty factor...
I have heard, BTW, that there will be a CR line of figures from Sideshow, so Craig likely won't be a 'Legacy' figure---at least, not initially...
My question is where the Premium Format Bonds go from here; now that they've done the three longest-tenured Bonds---is it Dalton, Lazenby...or Craig??

I've been meaning to post my own version of "Legacy" Connery, which I put together earlier last year. I used Scaramanga's suit jacket, which has the correct peaked lapels of Connery's white dinner jacket, whether it's the one from Goldfinger or Diamonds are Forever. The carnation is from the craft shop, which originally was orange that I then painted red. The black nylon "scuba" suit is a custom that Project Are made for me.
