And WG, that is one KICK ASS Joker! Very reminiscent of Denny O'Neil, with maybe a bit of Dick Giordano thrown in as well. Absolutely superb job.{[]

Thank you, guys. I could post alot more but they'd only add as spoilers and give the story away. My last stage of pencilling will be to finish up the few pages I have with architecture involved.; that's always trying because I hate doing perspective...
As for W.G.'s gift, I drew him one and he did so in kind. I'm glad he remembered my favorite villian of all time very un-Nolanlike. B-)

I was thinking of how the Joker was drawn in those comics from the early 70's and my feeble brain told me O'Neill was the artist, not the writer. Mea culpa.

Now about that machine:it's still in the planning stages, but it's definitely on the list of stuff to do(along with finding a way to convert lead into gold)...:)

Here is a page that's been posted earlier in pencil all inked now; a little tweaking and I'll syncronize it along with the script.
And here's the panel that I posted earlier on dealing with settings and perspective and whatnot. I fell asleep at my draft table tightening this up last night.
I took the liberty to recognize a couple of members here (there will be more of course) by putting their names on stores here; Tony DP & Loeff. Of course they're both located next door to a Prophylactic shop. Sorry, guys...I couldn't resist.
I'll tweak this a tad more then send the page on to the inker with others... Hope you likes.

Just got back from a small comic con out of town I was asked to sit in on at the last minute and I had a few sketches left over from the day:
I think this is the first sketch in a long time that I've done of The Penguin. He's a cool baddie but pales in comparison of other rogues in Batman's gallery.
Two-Face is a villian, like The Joker, that the more you draw him, the more ways you can find to do something different or new with him. I like experimenting with different mediums to get certain effects. These were pencilled and inked by me.
I spent a good part of the day doing sketches for Marvel fanboys and a few DC characters too.
One guy asked me to draw him The Dazzler and I proceeded to design her in the disco outfit she wore over 20 years ago...I didn't know that her wardrobe had changed...I mean it was a weird request. Who asks for a sketch of The Dazzler? )

I'm going to also mention that I agree with Rogue in that the Penguin was never one of my favorites. The only time I really think he was ever one of the best villains was in the 60's TV show. But in the comics... lame lame lame.

Night, The Dazzler was pretty much a creation of her time; although I had her first appearance, I never thought much of her at all.
However, this was one of the best X-Men storylines at the time and it introduced alot of characters that had more staying power than the Donna Summer mutant: Emma Frost, Kitty Pryde, etc...
If they ever do an X-4, this would make a very cool story but unfortunately, they have already used the Dark Phoenix angle, which this particular story preceded and you need the Jean Grey character for it to work.
John Byrne really kicked butt back then. This book won several awards during his tenor. Glad he's still around, currently with DC, although many have told me he's pretty anal in the personality dept nowadays...

You too? I used to go to an LCS a few years ago and the guy who owned the place would slam Neal Adams every chance he got. Even told me, the customer, that I had picked the wrong influences when it came to my art...yet on his wall, he had a protected, original copy of GREEN LANTERN #76 in which Adams had drawn so eloquently...and was selling it for an arm & a leg. It wasn't even in mint condition.
So I understand how you felt about the Byrne bashing, darenhat. I love his work too.

Yeah, Nolan's spin on Scarecrow was a little too meh for my taste but after repeated viewings, I've built up a tolerance for his spin on it.
Whether or not I ever get to draw my dream book which obviously is Batman one day, this is how I'd want to do my Crane, scrawny but evil-looking...and in costume-not a suit. Scarecrow would make a great foil on his own in a graphic novel project with me illustrating it in a half realistic tone. B-)
Of course, if I'm lucky, I don't care if I'm illustrating kids' coloring books for DC. )
I decided not to draw a pupil in the one eyehole that you can see to add malevolence to his appearance. I just felt putting an eye there would have taken something away from it all.

Nice job, Rogue! I can say wholeheartedly that that is the best rendition of Scarecrow I have seen. With art like that, I have no doubt that you could elevate Scarecrow to a formidable graphic novel villian! {[]

Dazzler was an X-Man that was introduced way back when I was younger than you.
She wore Roller-Boogie jumpsuits and I can't recall the extent of her powers but...she dazzled bad guys.
Her first appearance was during the Hellfire Club story arc in Uncanny X-men back in late '79. Chris Claremont & John Byrne did the book.
