No biggie, guys. You don't want your Cap mad or tee'd-off and I respect that. I did like Eon and went against the grain; sort of like they did with Craig? :v :D

Now that you mention it, your Cap is the spitting image of Craig!

    Only joking. :))

For my friends, Tony DP & Night, I decided to take what they said about my grumpy CA and soften him up to the point that he looks non-threatening. So after giving him a bowl of bran, I came up with this 8 minute sketch I did with a pen just as I was closing down shop at work.

    Cheers, guys. {[]

I call it: Cap in Spring. :D

Oh, my friend I'm sure that there's something you can do in 8 minutes. ;)

    Thank you.

More butterflies! It needs more butterflies; and a chirping bird on a tree branch. Only then will it be perfect.

Isn't that how long it takes Nightshooter to kick your ass on Halo? :p {:) Seriously though, I couldn't draw something like that in 8 months.

Man, that's more like 3 minutes on HALO. It's definetely his backyard and not mine. ;%

However Night's mind was in the gutter at my response earlier...and well...so was mine. :D

You do enough cons and you learn to render fast, Tony. Just a blessing I suppose.

Just thought I'd point at how terrible I am at Halo 2, which RA and I played. I am MUCH better at Halo 1.

Here is a sketch I did oh...when I was maybe in my early twenties; I may have still been a teenager perhaps. This was before I knew anything about internet or even less, the ins and outs of a pc.

Believe it or not, this was drawn from me watching THUNDERBALL and pausing my tape for certain instances to capture Connery's likeness. Just had to be alot more resourceful then. :)) In the actual picture, he's holding a silenced PPK but it's too large to get it all on the scanner even with Photoshop. I hope you enjoy this one regardless.

Here's another I did during college; I used to be on a major Doors kick back then and I drew this huge pic to hang on my wall. Too huge to really appreciate it though. It was done in charcoal. Still like The Doors though. ;)

Absolutely awesome Rogue; you caught both their likenesses and features beautifully. I especially love your Connery. Great, Great stuff.

One more that I did in college as well; I was on quite of a Hendrix kick as well and I still am. He's a guitar god in my eyes. Again it's too large but in charcoal as well. Enjoy.

I also remember drawing a very cool Roger Moore picture but methinks that it was stolen by a jealous artistic rival of mine in school.

You would've liked that one more than the Sean...

Don't forget Roger. ;) I have to say, your Connery picture is of course fantastic, but so are your Hendrix/Morrison pictures. {[] Are you really a Bond fan or are you really a professional artist who is pretending to be a Bond fan so as to have an excuse to show off your latest masterpieces? :v ;)

Well I'm an artist who LOVES BOND first and foremost. He's my second favorite "superhero" behind Batman. Of course his ranking may or may not drop over the next 5-6 years depending on the new guy... :D

As for the Morrison/ Hendrix pin-ups, I listened to their respective collection of works each just to get in the mood of who I was drawing. A little thing that some artists I'm sure do also. It sort of gives me an edge instead of just blindly doodling it out...

Hey, I just wanted to share these pieces with my extended web-family here. ;)

Hey Rogue, Spectreisland wanted to pass along his complements as well; he especially loves your Connery. He also says you must have been a much mellower guy in your younger days as these older images aren't nearly as ****ed off as your Captain America. :))

He also loved your Morrison and Hendrix, but he thinks Pat Metheny might be too much of a challenge for you. ;)

Oh, and by the way, we're seeing somebody this weekend about framing and matting a few of our art pieces, including a certain emerald warrior. Stay tuned...

Tell Spec, Tony : Been there, done that already. A college professor I know, who's an uber-jazz freak, commissioned me to do the well-renowned jazz guitarist, Miles Davis, David Sanbourne and The Bird for his study some time ago. I'm pleased that he was happy with his purchase. ;)

Also, I was alot wilder then then now. It's Connery; either get him right or jump off of a bridge. :))

As for matting the emerald gladiator, BRING IT ON!!!! {[]

I'm utterly amazed by this as my brother and I are major jazz fans. We love Sanborn, and Miles (we saw one of his last shows ever back around 1983) and we're Pat Metheny uber-freaks (we even met him once in Boston). Do you have scans of those? I'd love to see what you did with them. Which period was the Miles Davis from (the younger, understated Miles or the older, quasi-alien from outer space Miles)?

:)) Talk about suffering for your art.

Pics will be forthcoming. I might even reveal my handsome mug as I proudly hold up the piece.

I wish I did have scans but not only did I not have a scanner, but the pictures were huge. They were done in charcoal and again, I listened to their tunes to get me in the mood courtesy of my client.

I have some jazz (Herbie Mann, Parker and other mellow tracks) but I only played it when I was single and I brought dates home? :v Y'know...

As for the Davis pic, it was done in full early 60s mode, not E.T. mode.

I'll contact him and see if he'll take snapshots of them; they're still hanging proudly on his wall.

Not an expert but I always thought that Kenny G. was too commercialized.
