Interesting quote from Mr Craig though:
I've signed up for two more. Then I can get on with my life.
The clearest indication yet that he's on for 3 and 3 only?
We have heard that quote before, though, and it was much-discussed then. A very unfortunate choice of words. I think it's been said a lot that he's only on for 3, although I think Empire phrases it as 'unconfirmed by producers'.
Perhaps a better quote of Craig's to pluck out before people get the wrong idea is 'Nobody cares about this film more than I do' ! Seems to be almost true- everything about this film I read it seems Craig has given his input on it; from costume to music.
That photo of Craig in the stairwell fight where he appears to be being yanked backwards down the stairs by a rope on his back: towards nothing but the floor a few steps below him- ouch!
That quote about getting on with his life is a tempest in a teapot, as far as I'm concerned. The Bond films take up a notorious amount of an actor's time, what with long shoots and the required publicity. It must indeed feel like Bond is your whole life. After three films, I wouldn't blame him one bit for feeling that way. I assume we all have lives outside of Bond (we do, don't we??), why shouldn't he?
So how does one obtain that magazine? Is it on the Web?
I'm afraid you have to buy the Mail on Sunday newspaper, and you have to do it today.
Ah well. That one's not on sale in my theatre of operations...

Maybe all is not lost just yet, Loeffelholz. The Mail on Sunday website does have a Live Night & Day page. Hopefully, they will post some (if not all) of the Casino Royale special in the next day or two?
But that opening line is very encouraging, I agree.

Much appreciated, MNL {[]
I've purchased it, but I'm still unsure as to whether I've just purchased online acess to the magazine, or whether I'll actually be mailed a hard copy...it's from something called 'Newspaper Direct' in Canada...
Either way, thanks! :007)

Thanks -- This is a great site, even without the CR stuff.
Anybody know the make of leather jacket he wears during the shooting range scene ?
I agree, if his Bond is extreme (and I imagine it is), then it shouldn't be allowed to go stale.
There's a very convincing explanation for the switch from baccarat to poker. I had a feeling that poker was more "cinematic" and suspenseful than baccarat, which basically resembles blackjack. It won't satisfy everyone, but at least they didn't make the change without giving it careful thought.
I don't think it's a scene- I think it's just Daniel getting some training for the film. Might be wrong.
Indeed- 'Poker Player Magazine' this month has a longer interview with the poker advisor on the film- quite a tricky one to find!

Well, James Mitchell's interview with Daniel Craig has now been posted. This should interest those of you who have yet to see or read the Casino Royale special edition.

I'm sure I'd read that a shooting range scene had been added, or at least filmed ?:) Ah well, knowing me I'm probably wrong
What do you know ! I am wrong )
Daniel wears the leather jacket during firearms training at Stoke Pogues. It's still a nice jacket though
