  actually it's ITV 4.
  
  We normally get the previous night's how on the following night.
  So in the Uk it should be on the 11th.
  
  Times vary, somtimes it 11pm, sometimes 1 am, sometimes 2am

  This is probably a good move, since 7 November is election day in the States, and Letterman's show that night will no doubt be pushed back in favour of feverish 'election' coverage

  I'll be that's why they did it, too. It looks like Letterman is going to get first crack at the new Bond on U.S. talk shows, so he probably doesn't want to be pre-empted.

  The date change actually works out for me, since I have to wake up earlier than normal on Wednesday, which I already know will be too long of a day to sustain with less than the usual 40 winks.
