Let's all try not to get too worked up.The people at EW are really more interested in Tom Cruise and Paris Hilton than they are in the James Bond films. This list was probably thrown together by an intern in about 10 minutes.

    lol, v. true.
Tho i had read another article from an american magazine which had similar top bond girls. It seems americans or american media at the least love independent, sassy bond girls who are in no way submissive.

Carey Lovell was submissive? Maud Adams in OCTOPUSSY was submissive? Maryam D'Abo? C'mon!

Maryam D'Abo, yes. Maud Adams though and Carey Lowell were bad choices. Also, for the twenty millionth time, WHERE'S IZABELLA SCORUPCO?

    On Michelle Yeoh:
She wasn't the first woman of color to match wits with 007 (although, woefully, there haven't been many).

Considering Bond was bedding Miss Taro in 1962, and working his way through Japan's female population in 1967, this is hardly a fair stick with which to beat Bond. Exactly how many "women of color" have featured in the Batman series, or the Indiana Jones films, or Star Wars?

The "article" itself is hardly worth speaking about otherwise. I suppose you have to give the work experience boy something to do, eh?
