Danbury Mint Vanquish

Hi to all, ive been looking over this forum for the last few days and im really amazed to see so much admiration for the Bond series. I myself have only just started collecting some memorabilia, one of the items i have is a silver aston martin DB5 from Danbury Mint but what im really after is the Danbury Mint Vanquish which im struggling to find anywhere apart from jamesbondtoys.net so if any of you die-hard fans know where i could get hold of this marvalous car it would be a great help....

Isn't that the 1/12th scale version by Kyosho that Danbury also carried? scalecars.com recently had a 75% off storewide sale, and the original price of $390 went down to $97.50 (suffice to say, it's sold out!)

yeh thats rite, im not totally sure if there was any diffeence between the two. I know that Danbury mint supplied a COA where as Kyosho didnt

Almost everything on the scalecars site appears to be out of stock! (Just as well ... I'd be mighty upset to find out I could have saved a ton on Minichamps, etc.)

The Kyosho and Danbury Vanquish models are the same. I wouldn't be too concerned over a certificate of authenticity; it's not as though someone is going to look at the Bond box, see the ejector seat, yet doubt the veracity just because there's no COA. Besides, because everything these days is billed as a "collectible" from the word go and still over-produced, the resale value isn't going to increase all that much ... COA or not.
