What was your favorite or one of your favorite bond opening songs. For me it would have to be either thunderball or live and let die. Two totaly different genres of music but still both very good. So wat are yours?

I like The Living Daylights, The World is not Enough, Goldeneye, You Know my Name, A View to a Kill and Live and Let Die in the Groovy side
In the slow side, i prefer Moonraker (don't ask me why but is my favourite Shirley Bassey theme)Nobody Does it Better, You Only Live Twice and sometimes All Time High
(i think i've said them all)
Ok in the bad side:
TMWTGG... i've got somethig agaist Lulu.... i don't now what is it, DAD, LTK, FYEO....
Goldfinger is a great bond theme, but i found very similar in style Thunderball, and i like it more.
Fiona: But of course, I forgot your ego, Mr. Bond. James Bond, who only has to make love to a woman and she starts to hear heavenly choirs singing.
I like most of them; notably excluding the incredibly awful All Time High. Also, the latest theme song, You Know My Name, ranks among my favourites.
BEATLES ROCK!! Also GNR version was good too!
For all the flack it got, I'd still say You Know My Name for Casino Royale is my favorite Bond song. The instrumentals behind it are Thunderball-esque, Chris Cornell has a great voice and uses it on very apt lyrics. It also goes very well with the title sequence, my primary requirements. It's the only Bond song I'll listen to outside of watching the film...very impressive.
"Surrender" was used, for the end titles. Arnold also used the melody in his score. It's one of my favourites (it beats Sheryl Crow!).
for some reason, i wasn't very impressed with day another day by madonna. don't get me wrong i like techno music but i was out of place for the movie.

"I never joke about my work, 007."
Anyway, GF I love because it is so cool to have an anthem about the villain; imagine if a Superman movie had a Lex Luthor song sung by a star "Lex Luthor, he's the guy, the guy with the dome of chrome!". Plus the rhyme scheme is clever: "A golden girl knows when he's kissed her/It's the kiss of death from Mister/Goldfinger" Certainly the first and greatest of the definitive Bond songs.
Thunderball is almost like giving Connery's Bond his own anthem, it's fun, though schmaltzy (but so what?). TSWLM I absolutely love, in fact I won't always play it on my themes CD because I dont want to ruin the effect when I watch the movie, it's an amazing song and perfect for Moore's best entry, it's like his own anthem: Sean may strike like Thunderball, but nobody does it better than Roger. (Is what the song seems to be saying, please don't throw stuff at my head Sean diehards lol)
After that LALD, TLD, GE, AVTAK, DAF is eerie, the OHMSS opening piece is rousing, and I also Like "Surrender," though can see how it would have been more appropriate if they made a movie that was more a tribute to the sixties.
Oh, yes, and I am singing "You Know My Name" at least once a day.
Don't think of the danger or the stranger is gone.
Batman: "The Hammer Of Justice is UNISEX!"
-Batman: The Brave & The Bold -
I also love Bassey's DAF and GF---particularly the bassline in DAF B-) ---but I also find YOLT hauntingly beautiful, and its Asian flavourings very appealing...
And, as I've previously said, you haven't heard anything until you've heard my sons and I singing along to TMWTGG )
"I am not an entrant in the Shakespeare Stakes." - Ian Fleming
"Screw 'em." - Daniel Craig, The Best James Bond EverTM
For non-title songs, "We Have All the Time in the World" is my favorite.
