Just curious (apologies if this has been covered already):
1. How many times have you seen CR in the theater?
2. What's your goal on theater viewings?
I'm at a wimpy two, but that's highly unusual for me. The last time I watch a movie twice in the theater was the LOTR films. But before that, I can't recall.

The most I've ever watched a film was last year, when I saw Revenge of the Sith four times.
Starting with "The Living Daylights," I did see all of the Bond films twice in the theater . . . even the less than spectacular "Die Another Day." But with the advent of home video, there wasn't much reason to do more viewings until now.

Unfortunately, I have run out of people to go see the movie with so I'll just have to go see it by myself. In fact, I love this movie so much it will be the first time I have seen a movie in a theatre by myself.:p

It was the first film I have ever been to see alone and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I love my other half dearly, who has already been to see it with me twice, but I found that I could really get engrossed in the film without having to pinch the popcorn (I had nachos
I would highly recommend seeing it again and again whether accompanied or alone

The two times I saw it was alone. The first time the wife was sick so she had me go alone. The second time she got called into work unexpectedly, so off I went.
Both times I prepped for the movie by playing Texas Hold 'em on my cell phone.
The good news is that it opens a possible third viewing... :007)
Also, only twice so far, too much going on to see anything, but CR a third time is at the top of my list, hopefully this week...?
So what kind of things have you noticed, HH? I've only seen the film the one time...don't intend to see it again until it's on DVD. I will live vicariously through you guys.
I wish I could say "The meaning of life, Darenhat," or the next best thing, "the answer to all CR plot questions," but I'm afraid it's nothing quite that dramatic
One thing that did occur to me that hadn't before was the kidnapping. I had thought it was staged to draw Bond away from the casino. But perhaps it wasn't. Maybe LeChiffre thought Vesper had double-crossed him and OK'd the money to get him back in the game, not knowing it was in fact Leiter who provided the stake. It will be interesting in Bond 22 to see how all the different threads come together. Was Vesper working for LeChiffre, Mr. White or both? How and when did she become involved with each? What were in the suitcases (the one that floated away when the house sank and the one carried by Mr. White)?
I also noticed that the familiar refrain of the Bond theme was quoted at several points in the soundtrack
Good point, something I hadn't thought of.
And does Vesper actually fall for Bond or is she just acting the part so she can get the money ?

I've been trying to figure out the implications of my kidnapping theory. I may have to go a 5th time this weekend to try and sort it out. It's supposed to rain here anyway.
